This is probably ultimate finish of Schuettler. Again he loses all matches in the 1st or 2nd round, last year had very good autumn season (Tokyo QF), loses now many points. The German will begin next season outside Top 100 and will be playing only Challengers or ATP qualies.

Today had 2 break points at 3:0 in the third set, had good chance to win both points. Beck quickly equaled after that (3:3) and don't know what happened later because I lost my Internet connection

Schuettler needs to retire. The last straw was the 6-0 6-0 6-3 drilling he receieved from Gicquel.

It was a time when almost everyone thought Rainer is finished. I don't believe in his 2nd resurrection, he's already 33 and doesn't look as good as his peer Nico Lapentti.

Funny that Nico is held in such high regards but his ranking right now is a joke. :p
