Kohli :o.

Davydenko's style totally doesn't allow Kohli to play. I have no idea how he actually managed to score 2 wins over davydenko

massive beatdown. kohli took a clay court mentality into this match, and kolya take it early style decimated him.

Davydenko is showing that the only reason he dropped outside the top 10 this year (the first time since May 2005) was injury. He is an excellent player on all surfaces except for grass. Congrats to him for picking up 3 titles from his last 7 events.

yes you're absolutely right ... but Davydenko said he was very tired after Kuala's final against Verdasco : it might be a problem for him in the end of this season, he played more than others in recent months (I know the others are also tired and Davydenko is used to playing a lot ... but Davydenko has played more and is older than all except Gonzalez -who took very much care to play less than the others this year)

Superman Davy. Plays all last week, including the final. Monday he has a 3000 mile flight from KL to Beijing. Tuesday a 3 setter in the late afternoon, then they schedule him for early afternoon the next day ............and he does this.

In a way though, the collapse kinda illustrates why Kohli is perpetually ranked 20-35. He can't keep his form from tournament to tournament.

Davydenko has that ability to stun a player and take him to the shed. This is another great example. Guys in the Top 100 are probably more scared to face Davydenko on a medium-paced or fast hardcourt than they are to face Nadal (or Djokovic or Murray), because with Nadal they know they have a shot. Even Fed these days doesn't produce these kind of beatdowns.

10-07-2009, 04:26 PM
but kohli is master taking these kind of beatdowns, victor crivoi beat him 6-4 6-0 this year, cilic beat him 6-4 6-0

its not first time he is getting beaten badly

Will you stop being clueless? 3 of his 4 semi losses where to Federer. A beatdown on Kohli is hardly the top of his abilities.

will you stop being retard? my reply was on thist post: "I wish he could turn it on like this in slams."

he doesnt face bagelboys later round of grandslams, quarterfinal is is pretty much what he can achieve but if he faces player like flavio cipolla final rounds then everything is possible

and he's obviously managed to do well against all but very, very few or to be precise against Federer. Is there another point to your post than your obsessive need put down every single player except del Potro, plus him when you wake up on the wrong side of the bed

Only Fed has prevented him from being a multiple GS champ.

Davy AGAIN shows...he may very well be the best player never to have won a slam. Other than Mecir and Rios, who else truly has/had the game to deserve grand slam glory?

Nalbandian has the game to win a grand slam.
Does anyone have a video for the Davydenko/Kohlschreiber match??

Davydenko is probably the best to never reach a slam final. Him and Haas.

It will be a debacle if someone like Mugdasco or Tsonga make WTFs over Davy. Had he not missed AO, Miami and Indian Wells then Davy would have already booked his spot.
