III Troféu Brasil de Tênis - Brazilian Interclubs

Semifinals and the final of our interclubs tournament were played on Friday and Saturday in São Paulo, on Esporte Clube Pinheiros. Nico Lapentti was the biggest star here and we also had other quality players such as Ramon Delgado, Bruno Echagaray, Bruno Soares, João Souza, Ricardo Hocevar and others.

Club is wonderful and the event was very nice, the matches were fun to watch and the players were very close to the crowd who wasn't really big. I saw a little bit of Friday matches and all of Saturday ones. Of course it was another chance to see Nico playing :) Pinheiros had the best team and won the whole thing at their place.

Hopefully the tournament keeps growing and we have nice playes as Nico coming in the following years.

Soares should have played Davis Cup instead Sa? what do u think?

I was sitting near to his beautiful Spanish girlfriend after his match and he recognized me from Davis Cup, but I didn't try to talk to him. Very nice watching him play again and hopefully he comes for Petrobras next month :)

Soares better player and better moment than Melo and Sá, but it must be hard to split a 3-year team. But he should have played IMO and will probably play next year.
