WWW - 3RD Cincy - Rustael Nadal vs Choke-Henri Mathieu

Mathieu played a solidly strong mental game against Karlovic and IMO if he gets similar chances that Seppi created today, I think he will be a lot better at converting them. However, we know how many leads he has blown..

I would give Mathieu 4 out of 10 odds to win the match.

Discuss.

Rustael , you genius you. Mathieu to bend over for Nadal as usual. Nadal in 2.

I think PHM might finally get a victory against Nadal owing to a perfect storm of variables.

If he hits his backhand dtl why not? But sadly Mr.Mathieu chokes too much and will error his way out of the tournament

If Nadal plays the horrible way he played yesterday, he will lose in 2.

Of course I bet he will play better, but PHM would be a good bet for tonight if I did bet myself.

Rafa really needed someone more consistent to show him how far he is from his true self.

I want Rafa to win. PHM can definitely win this, though. So PHM.

PHM too mentally weak. Rafito would beat him on crutches.

He played a great match against him a couple of years ago, in Canada I think. He isn't really playing to that level anymore but Nadal isn't at his best either, could be close.

He also pushed him further at the FO than anyone.

Except for Soderling of course.

Rafa will win, but, like his previous match against Seppi, it won't be pretty tennis....

Think it's time to change my avatar to get the desired result... Then agan, it's worked well so far rather than being a jinx like it so often is, so maybe I should keep it  If ever there was a time for PHM to beat Nadal it's surely now, with or without any 'divine' intervention.

oh come on -the title is the only thing worthwhile on this thread. i think it was clever
and with your avatar on eastwood you have already shown you have no taste-make my day???? no taste there...

however nadal could beat mathieu with his ankles tied together.

 having a poll for this

Nadal could have 2 broken knee's, 2 broken wrists, pulled ab's, drunk.. and still win this match.

Considering Mathieu, he'll probably choke after being 6-0 5-0 40-0 up.
So...Nadal in 3.

Nadal in 3, though I'd prefer he got the job done in 2.
