Am I correct in thinking this isn't the first time Troicki retired injured?

It's his third retirement within the last month. At least he finished a set this time around which is a huge improvement

Maybe in the US open he can complete a full match but given it's best of 5 format I wouldn't want to bet on it!

Isn't it time he took a rest until he was fully fit? Playing and continually retiring is crap.

Maybe he should ask advice from Djokovic who used to retire from matches.

This Troicki is an utter joke. Stop taking valuable places in draws of your peers if you're clearly not fully fit. Either that, or toughen up and actually compete for the whole match. It's one thing to be unsure of an injury and 'test it out' in a match situation and realise it's no good, but as noted by others, he's now retired from several matches in a short space of time. I see last week he also got bagelled in the 2nd set, wouldn't surprise me if he just tanked that one away. And this is not a new phenomenon either, he had a fair few retirements in previous years too.
Sort it out, you mug.

I looked at the odds of this finishing on a retirement, should have placed a bet. Dammit

I thought so. I don't follow this guy that closely, but I've seen the (ret) next to his name before. Maybe it's a Serbian thing. Djokovic retiring, calling the trainer. Jankovic in the WTA is all the time taking injury timeouts. What's going ahn????

Troicki should stop learning from the Djoker. He has been retiring a little too much these days.
