What would be more impressive?

Between these 2 great accomplishments.

I say Nadal's because he had to beat the best and did it in a shorter time.

You should compare these two feats AFTER THEY ACTUALLY HAPPEN.

Federer cause at least he's won 10 of his slams in a decent era.

If Nadal won a career slams six years ago then it would be a well achievement. Not in this era

Nadal, because his would be a GOLDEN Career Slam.

Nadal was 16 then. It sure would be much impressive more.

:haha: Awesome. "Nadal's CGS at a young age", "Federer winning FO beating Soderling"... If you're going to be biased, at least try to cover it a bit. Oh and I love how the third option is "Neither is that good" but there's no "both are equally good".

:yeah:

Is this a trick question.

Is this a trick question.

Pretty much my thoughts.

I like how you threw Soderling, the clay master, in the poll.

Probably equally impressive. But Nadal has a long way to go to win the US Open son.

What if Nadal win the USO09 beating Ginepri in the final. Would it still be more impressive than Fed beating Soderling?

The one option did happen, the another won't ever even theoretically happen.
This thread is stupid even according to MTF's high standards.:D

Didn't know MTF had standards to begin with.

How do you know he would have to beat the best?

In my opinion the most impressive thing is winning the US open/Wimbledon 5 times back to back. It's hard enough to win 1 slam, but to win two slams 5 years in a row.

"Which is more impressive?"

Has Nadal won the US Open?

If he does, then it would be more impressive as it was done in such a condensed time but I feel this thread is a touch too early.

That wasn't my goal. I was only trying to say that if we wanted to have discussion about whats the most impressive feat. I would say winning a single grandslam 5 times in a row is just as impressive as winning the CGS, but winning two grandslams 5 times in a row is most impressive

fairynuff, but that isn't the point of this thread. then again, this thread doesn't have a point.
