It is sad for Marcos, but I honestly do not know when he is ever going to regain his 2006 form. Oh well, I like Robert so it isn't too sad.

Baghdatis and Gulbis racing who gets out of top150 first.

:help:
Mugbis - 101
Baggy - 111

Baggy has constant injuries. Gulbis has no excuse.

This fall seems reminiscent of Vaidisova's, although apparently not as extreme yet. Nice job to Robert though

Not good for Baghdatis though I don't know about his physical condition right now.

I hope he can one day approach the tennis he has shown he is capable of again. A shame to have such a talented guy out of action half the time and losing all the time the other half.

Im still holding out hope that he simply isnt fit enough to perform yet. Hopefully the latter part of 09 will be better.

Deboogle!.

Hopefully the latter part of 09 will be better.not sure if it makes you feel better or not, but in LA a few weeks ago, he practiced, then heavily iced his knee and appeared to be limping on his way off the grounds... I'd say his knee might not be 100% yet from when he injured it (before Wimbledon?). Bummer :(

Awesome. Fatdatis back to his clownish original level.

Blunt, but all so totally true.

What's more, Baggy is top 70 as far as results on the year go. Gulbis is barely top 100. Not too much to separate them, points-wise, but the smart money would be on Baggy to finish the season higher given that he is prepared to contest some challenger matches, while Gulbis still hasn't smelt the roses just yet.

Anyway, not a good result for Baggy, but he has struggled against serve-volleyers before...

Yeah I did wonder if coming back for Davis Cup was rushing into things a little too soon.

...and the belly as well. It seemed like he played better in that shape.

Baghdatis is one of the biggest joke slams finalists of all time right.

Exactly. Didnt need a 5 set match (or 3) that fast. Im looking to 2010 for a fresh start. Hopefully he is smart, rests, and plays some challengers to finish the year. Bout 99% he wont be at USO, which may be a good thing at this point.

Disappointing from Marcos.

Just feels like one abortive comeback after another from Marcos - perhaps he comes back before he's fully recovered or he's just damned unlucky re-injuring himself, but it's already starting to look like his best results are quite a way behind him, and that's a shame.

Personally i've lost a medium bet on him yesterday. I was going from corporate party and Marcos just won the 1st set 64... When i got home, Kendrick was serving for the match.

I would like to say that Marcos becomes a journeyman. Sadly.

Another thing is also true:

"Who eats much, wins a little"

Get on some diet, Marcos, you mofo.

I read so many posts like yours all the time.

You say Kendrick winning is brilliant but Baghdatis losing to Kendrick is truly awful.

Bit of a contradiction.
