Gonzo with his tricks are no match for the Iceman.

Next match should prove very interesting.

Average play from Davydenko. His volleys today however were Edberg like.

Gonzalez is an asshole, but Kolya taught him :yeah: 0-5 against my man

Gonzo hates playing Davydenko. DF on match point was hit on purpose and he was half way to the net before the ball hit the ground.
Kinda funny how these matchups work out considering Blake could probably beat Kolya with a frying pan.

Regular match by Davyd, he will have to play much better to beat Murray next round.

Expected. Decent tournament for Gonzo, even when he is gonna be #12 next Monday. Now, we wait for a decent draw in Cincinatti. He doesn't defend quite much for the rest of the year (after Beijing, he defends 4th round in US Open and that's pretty much it), so his chanches of going back to top 10 are still there.

Congratulations Davydenko, he's got a new pidgeon.

He's a splendid ballstriker and London can see the best of him for once (grass they never have)

Davy too good for Gonzo. Great to see him back in top form after the embarrassing defeat at the French.

expected as hell, Gonzo never liked to play PMK, and NID he frustrated him at the end

Can't stand Crapzalez's antics.

Same here, and this coming from a big fan of him. :smash:

Davydenko has won the last two previous meetings between them on Hardcourts in straight sets. Perhaps an upset is looming... though I haven't seen any of these players play this tournament due to a crappy time difference between Montreal and Australia. So I have no idea how these guys are playing, MTF isn't exactly the most reliable source for insight on whos playing well/bad...

I have seen Murray/JC and Gonzo/Davydenko and it is still hard to say. ;) Ferrero had nothing to hurt Murray, so the latter was cruising. Gonzo played his usual all or nothing, which resulted in some awesome points, but that was it. Murray seemed physically more affected, asking for ice-towels, but I am not sure this means anything.
