Needed 6mps in the tiebreak, and had 2 of em on serve :-)

Open side of the draw now, with Tursunov out. He has Ball next, then probably Mayer or Fish in the semis.

Johnny rolls on and his ground game looks a whole lot better now.

What was this long break at 10-11 about? Don't tell me the circus clown Isner took a timeout on sp.

Looks like it - the odds on Baghdatis plummeted to 1.55ish.

Seems it was a real injury, as he's pulled out of the doubles.

Isner fell, turned his ankle, couldn't stand up, and received treatment on court. Baggy jumped the net 'cause he was concerned.

Then John gimped to the baseline, steered in a 91 MPH first serve which a rattled Baggy floated long. Marcos gave what was left of the match away in similar fashion. Isner's injury seemed very legit, though.

Marcos:sad:

Yes, that pretty much sums up how I feel.

Hope Isner is OK to play on. Otherwise this would make the result doubly annoying.

Baghdatis fell and Isner fell. Think Baghdatis fell nearer the end.

More Bagh-dud-is than Bagh-daddy atm, unfortunately.

He cut out the dfs today at least, they were a plague last match - he was fortunate then Dancevic forgot how to serve and was allergic to bps.

Whatever happened to the Baghdatis who used to play tennis?

he was never blessed by the injury fairy... i think he'll be back on form by years end if he simply stays injury free for the next 4-5 months...
