Beck is a great talent; he should be making a lot more QFs at ATP events like these.

Same week in 1984 there were also two claycourt events. In Hilversum, one QF featured Birner (career-high of 60) vs. Castellan (career-high 122). Don't led nostalgia cloud your reasoning.

Good solid win for Beck but should have served it out at 5-3 in the third, did well to stay in there mentally though.
