I think Robby will be burnt out a bit. If Marat shows up to play in this one, I think he'll win in 2. I'd love to see Robby win though.

If Marat can lose to Levine, he can lose to Ginepri. I'll say 3 sets.

Head to head here means Jack. Marat was struggling with injury when they met in 03 and his last match before the injury that has fucked up his career when they met in cincy 05.

Safin is a lot worse even than he was when he was struggling in Cincinnati so I don't see him doing much here unless Ginepri is knackered.

Safin couldn't even beat his sister nowadays.

Safin would have to hope that Ginepri is tired from his Indianapolis run this past week

On the other hand, playing against someone he's never beaten before could be enough motivation

Marat is better physically than he was the previous times he's played Robby. He's the perennial dark-horse - he can come out of nowhere and beat players you wouldn't expect. But he currently has a 3 match losing streak and hasn't won in 2 months, and has no confidence in the tank.

Robby is coming into this match with his first title in 4 years - big confidence boost. His last win turned his year around, went 27-9, and finished the year at a career-high ranking. But Robby has had a real good week or maybe a few good weeks in a row in the past, then will go on to lose in the 1st Round several weeks in a row. Who knows what this new title will do for him now.

I think this match will depend on how tired Robby is and which Marat shows up. I say the match will be 3 sets, the winner is a toss-up.

If Robby is tired, then Marat in 3.
If Robby isn`t tired, then he in 2.

Looking at Safin's recent results you have to wonder whether he's got anything left for a final flourish. I hope so.

Safin doesn't care

Ginepri is a confidence player. Given thats high at the moment and Safin doesn't seem to have the will to fight, I think Bobbito wins.

Hopefully Safin!

He will have a nice warm-up with the exho against Sampras.

Safin is very interest. If he plays in his best level that no one else can beat him. If he plays the worst that can lose to any one of Top 200.

Robby is same kind of player. Pretty interest match between this two
