Good performance from Ginepri. Querrey looked exhausted today.
Indy Final - Ginepri d. Querrey: 6-2, 6-4MacTheKnife 07-26-2009, 08:14 PM Good performance from Ginepri. Querrey looked exhausted today. TMJordan 07-26-2009, 08:15 PM Great (not good) for the game. jonathancrane 07-26-2009, 08:16 PM Ginepri played great, amazing for moments. Better match than expected. GlennMirnyi 07-26-2009, 08:16 PM Wow, what an awful match by Querrey. :o scoobs 07-26-2009, 08:20 PM Deserved - Ginepri was the much better player, found some lovely backhands down the line today. Querrey was awful, serving terribly, too many double faults, and so negative right the way through the match, like he never once believed he could win it. Smoke944 07-26-2009, 08:20 PM Didn't get a chance to watch this, but more than slightly surprising. Robby had won 4 matches all year and now 5 this week  He's been worse than terrible this year. Funny how this form of his came up all of a sudden. He's a complete confidence player and it just came back to him I guess. Great job Robby. rocketassist 07-26-2009, 08:22 PM Mechanical aggression beats mechanical aggression with a bit of ballbashing. scarecrows 07-26-2009, 08:27 PM Ginepri launching his quest for US Open title good match from him Sapeod 07-26-2009, 08:35 PM Good win Robby. Guess he needed the win more. About to drop out of the top 100. Sam will have more chances in the future. chowdahead25 07-26-2009, 08:36 PM Really happy for Ginepri. Querrey sucks. What a joke of a player. Has the confidence and big match intelligence of a lima bean with downs syndrome. Ginepri for USO title!!:D alfonsojose 07-26-2009, 09:03 PM Sexy Ginepri back   jrm 07-26-2009, 09:18 PM :woohoo: but this is second time in the row Querrey lost the final he should have won Caralimon 07-26-2009, 09:31 PM Great tournament from Robert after that nasty injury he had Training in Argentina with Cacho Marcaccio did wonders for him rrfnpump 07-26-2009, 09:38 PM Robby :yeah: :D finally a good week again! Geo 07-26-2009, 09:44 PM nice win for Ginepri, after the health issues he's had recently :) Querrey was sloppy today, but some of his errors were caused by the pressure Ginepri put on him. Panic23 07-26-2009, 09:47 PM Querrey looked nervous, might have something to do with his age, but Ginepri was all over the court. Hope both of them can do well in Los Angeles and keep moving up the rankings. jcempire 07-26-2009, 09:59 PM If Robby plays his best tennis, that would come like Top 5 Level. Sam is not enough for him. Anyone know that would him get the WC to Montreal. what's his ranking after today KarlyM 07-26-2009, 10:01 PM It's always nice to see a player who's down in the dumps career-wise win a title. Nice job, Robby! :yeah: Sam's serve... :bolt: Panic23 07-26-2009, 10:05 PM If Robby plays his best tennis, that would come like Top 5 Level. Sam is not enough for him. Anyone know that would him get the WC to Montreal. what's his ranking after today I'm new around here, but have been a fan since 2005. Do you really think he has a top 5 game? I could see top 15, maybe 10 - but top 5 seems like quite a stretch. I think he's ranked 56 after today. jcempire 07-26-2009, 10:15 PM I'm new around here, but have been a fan since 2005. He did have the chance to play Final but just came short and lost to Mr. Andre in Semi. It made me feel that He is close to Top 5 JMG 07-26-2009, 10:17 PM Good job Robby, taking out all the clowns. Roddickominator 07-26-2009, 10:41 PM Congrats to Robby....the better player won. I have given up on Querrey....the guy just doesn't have the heart to play big time tennis. Serenidad 07-26-2009, 11:50 PM Robby won a slam. kutafon 07-26-2009, 11:53 PM If Robby plays his best tennis, that would come like Top 5 Level. Sam is not enough for him. Anyone know that would him get the WC to Montreal. what's his ranking after today lets not get carried away imo top 3 ChinoRios4Ever 07-26-2009, 11:58 PM well done Ginepri, keep this form son :yeah: rhinooooo 07-27-2009, 12:28 AM lets not get carried away imo top 3 Now you're just being silly Top 1, no doubt. Those RF hats that Nike supposedly made for Fed were actually RG hats. Most of the shipment was stolen en route from China. They're now scattered all over Africa and Asia. Robby has shrines in Gabon and Mongolia, with several others projects currently being developed in Bangladesh, Cape Verde Islands, Bhutan, and a 24 hour TV channel in Yemen. Panic23 07-27-2009, 01:09 AM back to 05 of USOPEN. He did have the chance to play Final but just came short and lost to Mr. Andre in Semi. It made me feel that He is close to Top 5 Where was Nadal then? Djokie? Robby won a slam. Really? He won the Australian Open? I must have missed that. lets not get carried away imo top 3 ;) Top 10 does not sound far fetched then. Would be good to see him and Tommy Haas make a run. Har-Tru 07-27-2009, 01:12 AM robby?? thought he was done with the titles. Panic23 07-27-2009, 01:19 AM What racket does Ginepri use? MacTheKnife 07-27-2009, 01:22 AM What racket does Ginepri use? Sam  suckish performance in the final, but good week... Panic23 07-27-2009, 02:37 AM Babolat Thanks. That's what I thought, seems everyone is using Babolat now. FlavorNuts 07-27-2009, 05:08 AM Ginepri can play some ridiculously good tennis on hardcourts DartMarcus 07-27-2009, 05:28 AM Yessssssss! Congrats Robby! :woohoo: HattonWBA 07-27-2009, 06:58 AM Querrey should have three titles by now and is still stuck on 1. Good week for Ginepri though and much deserved krystlel 07-27-2009, 08:30 AM Unbelievable how Ginepri can be so shaky on his groundstrokes sometimes, but so amazingly consistent today. He was like a wall. Anyway, it's been a good comeback for him. Querrey must be feeling pretty disappointed, having a good shot at winning titles both in Newport and now in Indianapolis but losing convincingly both times. He could barely seem to hit any potent shots, on the serve or forehand like I'd normally expect. kyleskywalker007 07-27-2009, 08:34 AM The title could easily be "Querrey out-mugs Ginepri".....These american MM are funny indeed! JMG 07-27-2009, 08:36 AM Ginepri is one of the few Americans who can hit both forehand and backhand. idolwatcher1 07-27-2009, 06:48 PM Congratulations, Robby!! :D:D:D :woohoo: It was so nice to see him win this title and see him so happy, especially after what he's been through this year... jcempire 07-27-2009, 08:19 PM Robby :yeah: nice to see him win a title!
