Too bad John. I saw you winning this. Looks like Robby is back in business after a horrible first half of the year.

Looks like Robby is back in business after a horrible first half of the year. Did you say horrible first half of the year, more like a horrible past 2 years. jonathancrane 07-25-2009, 09:38 PM Awful Isner, wasted a lot of chances Smoke944 07-25-2009, 09:38 PM Good job Robby, doubled your win total from the rest of the year here  :yeah: Good run for John, anyway. Sapeod 07-25-2009, 09:41 PM Did you say horrible first half of the year, more like a horrible past 2 years. He had an okay 2008, reached back into the top 50 but this year has been horrible. ballbasher101 07-25-2009, 09:47 PM He had an okay 2008, reached back into the top 50 but this year has been horrible. After reaching the semis of the US open I thought that he had come to stay. I truly thought that he would be a consistent top ten player. Same with Youzhny I suppose, and Malisse. nastoff 07-25-2009, 09:50 PM He had an okay 2008, reached back into the top 50 but this year has been horrible. What's the story with him, his 2008 wasn't bad but 2009 so far had been awful. Injuries? In any case, Sam will the edge in the final but I hope somehow Ginepri can cause the upset. ballbasher101 07-25-2009, 09:57 PM Me too. Guess it was not to be. Same with Youzhny I suppose, and Malisse. Youzhny has fallen so far that I doubt we will ever see the best of him which is a shame. I remember the Colonel beating Nadal in Dubai a few years, he was on fire in that match. Malisse is just a man lost. Believe one of that group of players badly effected by injury which is probably the main reason for the decline of most players. Ilovetheblues_86 07-25-2009, 10:10 PM Ginepri never deserved to be in top25, he´s a pusher and have bad mind.:P Sapeod 07-25-2009, 10:12 PM What's the story with him, his 2008 wasn't bad but 2009 so far had been awful. Don't quite know what kind of injury, but he hardly played from January to May. nastoff 07-25-2009, 10:15 PM Ginepri never deserved to be in top25, he´s a pusher and have bad mind.:P top 15 tenfan47 07-25-2009, 11:16 PM Robby's appendix burst several months ago and he was in the hospital for a good stretch. It really wreaked havoc with his physical status and he lost quite a bit of weight. It has been the road back to recovery and regaining his strength. So that would explain the last 6 months Ilovetheblues_86 07-25-2009, 11:22 PM I like him, hope he come back near the top50.
