Ferrer will be mad at himself for losing after serving for both sets, but what can you say, Kolya was just too good at times.

Excellent tiebreaker for Nikolay as well :) Good luck tomorrow Sunset of Age 07-25-2009, 06:18 PM You think anyone can be a top pro when watching the pattycake of these two clowns. Did you even WATCH that match??? Great match, should have been the final. :worship: Congrats, Denko! :hatoff: Now take that title tomorrow! :rocker2: Denko played some great attacking tennis, some lovely dropshots there, smashes, balls painting the lines, crosscourt winners... A little too many UEs though, but that of course comes with an aggressive game. Well done buddy.   Pics... very good attempt but just not good enough. ballbasher101 07-25-2009, 06:18 PM Not a surprise really. Since Ferrer had that amazing season in 2007 I think he has not been himsef. It was not a choke by David, Kolya played excellent these important games. philosophicalarf 07-25-2009, 10:49 PM Davydenko now 20-4 career in clay matches against opponents of similar ability (and 2 of the losses were retirements). All hail the tennis robot. Fedexex 07-25-2009, 11:58 PM welldone:hearts: David:hug: Ozone 07-26-2009, 12:20 AM Thatta boy Nikolay!!! Get it done in the final!! This would be a nice title for him:) After watching the USO Series, this match looked like the most grinding I have ever seen in my life! Ozone 07-26-2009, 12:26 AM You think anyone can be a top pro when watching the pattycake of these two clowns. How about you actually watch these matches before you negate them. I saw 2 brilliant grinders whaling the ball crosscourt, down the line almost everytime in any situation. It is great tennis to watch when you have people who aren't the most powerful but make-up for it with brilliant shotmaking. Great stuff!! This match was probably the final if you know what I mean. ballbasher101 07-26-2009, 12:34 AM You think anyone can be a top pro when watching the pattycake of these two clowns. You are funny I will give you that. Comments like these are not to be taken seriously. lessthanjake 07-26-2009, 01:54 AM Davydenko played very well today. I only watched the 2nd set, but he seemed to be going to the net well, using some great drop shots, getting a couple aces at crucial moments, and getting good angles on his shots. I think he is the favorite for the final. HattonWBA 07-26-2009, 06:47 AM Awesome Davydenko, now win the final | |
