The Nacho Warrior got the job done... Action Jackson 07-23-2009, 06:09 PM Fun stuff between these two lovable guys. Burrow 07-23-2009, 06:11 PM Shows how good this Soderling is when so many people are going crazy about some guy beating him. Serenidad 07-23-2009, 06:12 PM Robin's form has been awful, but he was winning anyway due to increased confidence/belief. It is finally catching up to him. Michael Bluth 07-23-2009, 06:20 PM I like Almagro's game, but yelling out on a df on match point was a dick move. habibko 07-23-2009, 06:36 PM just when I decided to put some considerable vcash on some surely won match, Mugerling makes a grand appearance and reminds me once again why I hate his guts. :retard: :retard: :retard: on a less bitter note, his run had to end somewhere, he basically hasn't lost except to Federer since RG. UsD.AnDreS 07-23-2009, 06:37 PM almagro looks so funny for me when clinching fist. anyway nice job by him and by robin winning something like 14 of his last 17 matches ClaudiuS 07-23-2009, 06:38 PM The Toad just got tired of winning. LinkMage 07-23-2009, 06:44 PM LOL @ the bitter Nadulltards celebrating Soderking's loss. malisha 07-23-2009, 06:58 PM this how you do it..fat burro expected one tangerine_dream 07-23-2009, 06:59 PM Playing on clay after Wimbledon. :retard: DrJules 07-23-2009, 07:03 PM Brings to an end a period going back to April when the only players he has lost to were either Federer or Nadal. Probably the effect of playing in successive weeks. Har-Tru 07-23-2009, 07:39 PM Playing on clay after Wimbledon. :retard: I love it when people say this. It's always been done. tangerine_dream 07-23-2009, 08:26 PM I love it when people say this. It's always been done. And it's always been stupid. DrJules 07-23-2009, 08:57 PM Playing on clay after Wimbledon. :retard: I love it when people say this. It's always been done. And it's always been stupid. Agree totally. The ATP need to structure the calender in a logical order, but that would expect too much. Newport on grass after Wimbledon is equally silly. The French Open should mark end of clay season, Wimbledon the end of grass season, US Open end of hard court and Masters end of indoor season. BigJohn 07-23-2009, 09:25 PM Agree totally. The ATP need to structure the calender in a logical order, but that would expect too much. Newport on grass after Wimbledon is equally silly. The French Open should mark end of clay season, Wimbledon the end of grass season, US Open end of hard court and Masters end of indoor season. You can't touch RG-Wimbledon scheduling, so either there is more grass after Wimbledon or things stay as they are. Goldenoldie 07-23-2009, 09:44 PM I still back Soderling for a top 8 year end finish and a place in WTF Ilovetheblues_86 07-23-2009, 09:46 PM The King got tired of winning and now wants to have fun at hard courts. :secret: Almagro would probably have cried to be defeated three times in a row. GlennMirnyi 07-23-2009, 09:56 PM  at the Nadulltards happiness. Guess what? Almugro the clown will crash out the next round. tennishero 07-23-2009, 10:02 PM finally, hes back to his normal level (mug) lol ballbasher101 07-23-2009, 10:58 PM Fatigue has finally caught up with him. It has been a good 2 months for the Toad so this loss comes as no surprise. MacTheKnife 07-24-2009, 01:46 AM He's played at least one shaky set in his last few matches. Finally caught up with him. Horatio Caine 07-24-2009, 07:32 AM Yeah, it was asking a lot (mentally more than anything :o) for Soderling to win two titles on the bounce...but I'd have had a hard time picking which player to actually knock him out. This Almagro only seems to like '500' events. :tape: Etern 07-24-2009, 09:21 AM Didn't see the match but can't say I'm surprised about the result. Actually I didn't think he would show up in Hamburg after the win in Bĺstad. It would have been great if he could have recharged fully cause the draw looked so nice for him but now he will get more rest :). And of course congrats for Almagro, maybe he can get som confidence back and do something good in this tournament, the draw is wide open for him now. HattonWBA 07-24-2009, 09:57 AM Soderling has beaten Almagro twice very recently so i believe that Almagro celebration was purely winning the match as opposed to unsportsmanship although i am not a fan of him. Good win anyway, Soderling just needs to keep his form going. HKz 07-24-2009, 10:38 AM Damn it Robin, I seriously thought you were going to continue and steamroll to the top :( Honestly though, get Robin in the top 10 and kick Novak Djokomug, Gilles Simug, Mug-mugfried Tsongmug and Fernando Mugdasco all out. Somehow, Mugdasco is the only one to do well in a Grand Slam this year out of all of those yet they are still solidly in the top 10..makes no sense... Also at the meantime, get Haas back up in there too. Corey Feldman 07-24-2009, 02:03 PM Soderling has beaten Almagro twice very recently so i believe that Almagro celebration was purely winning the match as opposed to unsportsmanship although i am not a fan of him. Good win anyway, Soderling just needs to keep his form going.are you kidding? Almagro was overjoyed for the same reason you seen as the all the Spanish posters in the 1st page here - they got the man who crushed little prince Rafa at RG  and Almagro may be Nadal's biggest fanboy Corey Feldman 07-24-2009, 02:05 PM Playing on clay after Wimbledon. :retard::silly: so the clay courters who dont care about grass and HC dont get any tournaments to play? you Roddick HC tard Sunset of Age 07-24-2009, 02:31 PM  at the Nadulltards happiness. Guess what? Almugro the clown will crash out the next round. heh heh. :p Sapeod 07-24-2009, 02:36 PM  at the Nadulltards happiness. Guess what? Almugro the clown will crash out the next round. Damn. No kidding. GlennMirnyi 07-24-2009, 05:42 PM  at the Nadulltards happiness. Guess what? Almugro the clown will crash out the next round. Always nice to be right. Har-Tru 07-25-2009, 02:14 AM And it's always been stupid. No one is forced to play these events. Yet if they are staged is because players want to play them, so I guess it musn't be so terrible. Clay is the surface of Continental Europe, not a residual surface. People from outside fail to understand that so often. iSzavay. 07-25-2009, 04:08 AM Good win Nico at least. | |
