Excellent fight in the 2nd set from Vinciguerra, but the Söderling just too strong as to be expected.

Vinci had setpoint in the tiebreak, but Toad played an excellent inside out forehand to save it.
So great to see Vinc back. He's a great fighter, and if his body holds he should be able to make top 100 in a year or so.
I believe he still has some PR left...

Soderling looks more and more like he will reach the year end masters indoors :eek::eek: All the top players will be hoping Robredo qualifies instead, but luckily Robredo lost his semi-final.

Magnus Larsson has done a good job with Vinciguerra, he has some PR events left, hope he uses them for the challengers and can play without any more injuries.

Good fight for Vinciguerra having been set and a break down, good mental toughness from Soderling though to save a set point in the breaker, he may have threw in an error etc about 2 months ago
