1. US Open
2. Australian Open
3. Wimbledon
4. Roland Garros

This is based on how much of each I watch every year, but I do like them all. :)
I hardly even sleep during the HC slams.

We need an indoor carpet GS. :)

1. Australian Open - home tournament, relaxed atmosphere, friendly crowd.
2. Wimbledon - tradition, respectful crowd, so unique with grass.
3. US Open and Roland Garros - rude crowds. Just don't really like them as much for some reason.

1. Aus Open
2. Wimby and RG, I like both but I get to see so little of RG that I have to but Wimby on equal footing because of that little fact
4. US Open.

And for anyone who cares, Aus Open 2010 ticket prices are on the official website. No huge changes in prices from last year

1. US Open (only GS I've been too. I can't imagine many venues being more fun than an evening session in Arthur Ashe stadium, though)
2. Wimbledon (I love grasscourt tennis. Tradition doesn't mean a whole lot to me, though)
3. Aussie Open (exciting because it kicks off the year, but it's hard to watch from North America)
4. Roland Garros (to be fair, my favorite players don't usually do well. However, I also think clay court tennis can be extremely boring sometimes, even more than a straight-up serve fest on a fast court)

I gotta say Wimbledon - with all the disadvantages it is still the symbol of the tennis world, two weeks of lots of broadcasting, great atmosphere, tradition, prestige and convenient hours for me.

The thread title should be: WHich Grand Slam is your favourite? I think there was already such a thread. If you ask for tennis tournament, then it's Stuttgart for me. I'm sorry for every year I can't go there. :(

Wimbledon, because for most of my lifetime none of the others were shown on British TV

US Open - crowd, night matches, my time zone
Wimbledon - Grass
FO - Not a big clay fan, but see below
AO - would be 3rd, but for me, the time zone sucks. 16 hours diff. Pain in the butt to watch, but wouldn't miss it.

Favorite non-slam - Miami - 4hr drive from my house.

I love them all but have to nick pick something to rank them.

1. US Open
2. Aussie Open
3. Wimbledon
4. French Open

The matches under the lights and into late hours of the night are what makes the US and Aussie Opens the best, they tend to be the most exciting and dramatic.

1. US Open- Unparalleled atmosphere.
2. Australian Open- First biggie of the year, everyone is hyped. I also prefer hard court slams.
3. Wimbledon- Little stuffy for me.
4. Roland Garros- Yawn.

2. Aus Open
3. French Open
4. Wimbledon (I think the television coverage in AUS is ordinary which is why I rank Wimby 4th.)

1. Roland Garros. Of the tournaments I've been to this was the nicest to actually be at. I loved every minute of the 3 days we were there. The tennis can be a bit 'slow' but I loved the atmosphere and the colour of the court.
2. Australian. I like the potential upsets as it's so early in the year, and the atmosphere. I've only seen it on the TV but it comes across as extremely well run. And I love the blue!
3. US Open. It's been a bit flat for me the last couple of years but the night games are exciting.
4. Wimbledon. I got really sick of it this year and was so glad when it was all over. All the ridiculous pomp, fake tradition and the Murray hype turned me right off. The British media was saturated with it. We went for 1 day and it was just SO stressful with all the crowds of sightseers. I hated every minute of it and will never go back. Plus I'm sick of the sight of the Williams sisters! It's time to overhaul Wimbledon and drag it into the 21st Century.

Wimbledon is the best, well behaved crowds
Australian Open-the crowds are always having good fun except for a few rotten tomatoes
USA Open is noisy but I like it because New York is the best city in America
French Open is the worst with the most ignorant racist crowd

Wimbly has really lost that something in the past two years. :o Hope it's temporary but the crowd drives me out of my mind.
