Soderling is about 100 times better.

Soderling, he has made a slam final so far and doubt Verdasco ever will.

Anyone with a brain would say Soderling :worship:

verdasco is without doubts the more talented and better player. he will stay at the top 10 for some time. söderling is no top 10 boy

In May we had the Verdasco is the Future thread. Of course consider the source, but some were agreeing.

I think Verdasco in the long run. Never know though. Im not completely convinced on Soderling. Ill probably be wrong, but we'll see.

For Verdasco to be better than Soderling he'd need to reach a slam final, never happening. I doubt he will even reach another semi.

Soderling has already a GS final. Verdasco blew his chance with that haunting double fault.

He blew it before the double fault, he lost his legs, he was knackered.

Verdasco will probably be more consistently solid....but Soderling is a more dangerous player IMO.

True, but he was still so close to winning that match. It's always devastating to lose on a DF.

Until Verdasco makes a GS final Soderling will always be better than him.

2 and 3 titles respectively is kind of really bad, though. :spit: They both should have more than that. Same could be said of Gasquet - but that's not the topic of this thread.

They should, I totally agree. But neither could put it together for 3 or 4 matches in a row and it frustrated me so much  I think Soderling will end up with the better career though.

I'll wait until next year though to decide because we'll have to see how they back up their breakthrough seasons

Soderling, of course.

Verdasco is a mug without a serve and with a mediocre backhand.

Soderling. I think he'll win about 8/9 titles throughout his career, all MM unfortunately. Verdasco will be a solid player but Soderling will have the better career.

Nando, only a matter of time he will reach a GS final and possible win it!Next year could be his year if not the one after!

Soderling career should be compared to those of Melzer or Chardy, he isn't fit to tie Verdasco's shoelaces.

Just FYI, Toad leads the h2h 4-1. Two of his four wins on clay, and two on HC. Verdasco's one win was on HC.

I know that. So what, Blake leads Nadal too... and many other examples of absurd H2H saying nothing about the quality of the respective players' careers.

TBH, Soderling is much better than Verdasco. Nando has had shit results recently, while Robin has had a great time. Soderling's ranking will soon go above Verdasco's.

Of course, Verdasco will always get more attention because he's a media-friendly pretty boy.

So you would have no problem if a Federer fan said that.. :haha:

H2H alone is an utter crap point to determine the quality of two players' careers, be it Soderprick-Verdasco or Nadal-Federer. H2H was the only point you raised in your informative reply to me.

I hope it's clear enough now.

Oh it's totally clear to me.. there are others on MTF that are totally confused about that.

Verdasco and Roddick get rid of Federer's competition. It makes the money-driven media look good by praising Federer's "brain and classy personality".
