I was confused when a commentator said "Soderling is now in the QF"... I was thinking back to think if he played a match before, but i couldn't see any.

Both players served well, but once a rally was underway Robin dictated play with his forehand which worked really well. Vliegen tried to play with variation, but it didn't really work and he got pushed back quickly.

Like Robin said post match "it was an okay match". Nothing more, nothing less.
Nice first match win however, and nice to finish with two aces.
Vliegen was pretty bad, and had no chance keeping up with Robin's pace.
Who looks focused, and is on a mission here...

Vliegen sucks **** as an underdog, he's usually beaten before he even turns up. In tables of long odds upsets, the only worse in the top150 is Roitman (and that's only cos Roitman likes to bet the correctscore rather than try to win).

fucker came mighty close for me at huge odds v nalbandian indoors last year too. basel perhaps.
