Mathieu beats Mikael for the first time ever. Faces Fognini next. Hope Fabio can keep the racket in his hands this time.

Wow, what a great win for PHM, especially mentally! But then again, this Youzhny isn't worth a lot anymore...

Hope Fabio can keep the racket in his hands this time.Did you see the match in Madrid? There was no livestream.
It looked to me like he hit a line judge with his racquet in an unfortunate move when chasing down a ball. The line judge was bleeding a lot, but Fognini did nothing wrong. He was actually nicely taking care of the line judge then, while I found everybody else so slow and inefficient, he rather made a good impression on me in that story.

Good win for PHM. Shame that Mikael has fallen so much these past two years.

Good win in tough opener, if he was ever going to beat Youzhny this was the time though

Is Youzhny over?

The Colonel is doing a Safin. Maybe it is a Russian thing . I fear for the Colonel, the way things are going are not good to say the least. The Colonel is sinking fast, he needs to make some big changes in order to stem the tide otherwise he is finished.

Amazing. Always great when Paulo wins, always great when Youzhny goes home.
