Cory Parr, teammate of Todd Paul at Wake Forest University, had a record breaking career for the Deacons. Cory, from Jericho, New York, played #3 mostly as a freshman. The lefty moved his ranking up throughout his years at Wake Forest. Cory was ready to rock the NCAA by his senior year. Him and teammate Steve Forman won a National Championship in doubles at the ITA Indoor's. The duo remained at #1 throughout most of the regular season.

Cory broke Todd Paul's career singles wins record at 108 at the latter part of the season. Cory got great wins over top 10 opponents throughout the year. He carried the Deacs to the conference finals as well as the NCAA Sweet 16. Cory's resume is filled with wins over top 10 opponent's, as well as his stunning doubles career. Cory is the winningest singles AND DOUBLES player in Wake Forest history. Now, he is looking to carry over his success to the pro's. Cory and Todd have already won a doubles title together at a futures event.

This week, Cory is kicking things off by getting a wildcard into the main draw of the USA F15 Future in Rochester, New York. He will have a tough task by facing 2 seed Quintero first round. Go Cory!!:)

Cory and Fugate win the USA F15 Doubles title 10-8 in the 3rd!!!:woohoo: Great start!!

Cory is playing in USA F16 Future. He lost round 1 to eventual finalist Blake Strode in 3 sets.

Cory Parr got into the Singles and doubles MD in USA F18 Futures in Joplin, MO. COry won against a WC first round 62 62! He lost to 6 seed Bocko 64 62 in the next round, however.

In doubles, Cory teamed up with Wake Forest great Todd Paul to take the 3 seed spot. The duo raced the draw easily, winning 60 76, 63 62, and 63 61 against the top seeds!! They are in the finals now against the 4 seeds!! Hopefully Cory can win ANOTHER doubles title. Go CP!!

Last week in Joplin, Todd and Cory were 3 seeds in doubles. They totally dominated the whole doubles draw, winning it 60 76, 63 62, 63 61(over top seeds) and in the final, 62 61 over the 4 seeds. Another doubles title for Cory!! Great start to his career!!

This week, Cory is a WC at the USA F19 Futures. Cory will play other WC Domijan first round, then potentially the 2 seed, Phillip Simmonds.

Todd and Cory obviously temaed up again in doubles. They are 4 seeds in doubles, and are playing today. Hopefully they will make it back-to-back title!! Go Cory!!

As a qualifier, Cory played SE Nielsen in the first round. Cory fought hard and again won in epic fashion, 67 75 64!!:bounce:

Cory will now face 5 seed Estevez, who will look for revenge after Cory beat him 75 in the third set last week:yeah:

In doubles, Cory and Todd won easily 60 62. No sweat as usual:cool:

In doubles, Todd & Cory suffered a shocking 13-11 loss in a 3rd set tiebreaker!:eek: They reached the semi.

In singles, Cory has reached the semi-final!!!:crazy: :woohoo:

Cory lost to Scoville Jenkins 16 75 36. He was up 2-1 a break in the 3rd, but he has been playing 4 days straight now. Nice to get a set though. Good confidence builder:yeah:

In doubles, Todd and Cory desposed of the top seeded team 76(1) 75 to go to the quarterrs.

Cory's first ever challenger is over, but it is also a huge success!

Cory and Todd lost in the doubles quarters after knocking off the top seeds. They lost 63 64 to Kevin Anderson and Donald Young.
