This one was fun to watch. Lots of fantastic play at the net from both players, both using the entire court. Very nice grass tennis and a terrific result for Dancevic the Pirate. Second career ATP final.

Good stuff from Frank. It might be Frank against Tursunov again, I think Frank has a great chance be it Dima or GGL. He has got to take advantage of this and grab his first ATP title. Come on Frank! You can do it!

Yeah, a very fun match (probably more fun for me cause Frank won ;)). He didn't do a whole lot on Santoro's serve, but took good advantage of the second serve and got the break in each set. :yeah:

He hasn't been broken since the second set against Ward

Will he play Wimbledon?

Great win for Frank! Now for the title.

Will he play Wimbledon?

Yeah, he has Darcis R1, then probably Karlovic should he win.

If he goes up against Dima he will really have to serve much better than he did today. If he does I think he has a real shot.

Was rooting for Fab, but like Frank also. Congrats, Frank! Win the final now! :yeah:

It seemed that Fab is toying with Frank in the 1st set until 3:4. Passing shots, lobs, everything. Frank saved few break points, managed to get a break, and then the match changed. I wonder, who was compiling the match statistics. W/UE 19/6 for Santoro. 6 UE?! There were a lot more UE than only 6 of them.

Nice match overall. Thoroughly enjoyed it :)

Will he play Wimbledon?

Yes, he is playing Steve Darcis R1. He is in Tsonga and Verdasco's zone.

Great stuff by Santoro in the first 7 games, then after failing to break he had a really big letdown, couldn't get the ball over the net, and lost the match really quickly from there.

The guy is a pretty good grass player, right? Didn't he beat Davydenko once in wimbly? I'm looking for someone to take care of that monster Karlovic before he faces Tsonga

Must've been a very nice match to watch, even though I expected Santoro to win. It's definitely retirement time.

Congrats Frank :yeah: What a great run!

Not Davydenko, he beat (a very disinterested) Nalbandian last year. But yes, he's a good grass court player.

Enjoyable match. Santaro still has some fantastic skills, but it is surely time to call it a day.

yah man, santoro easily could have won this, just needs to quicken his pace by a step or two. now tsurnov will blow this canadian danceman to pieces

bad overall match from Santoro...easy passing missed to get broken in the first set..and from then it was only one man playing

good gutsy performance from Frank

Some match to watch. Frank will, however, have to raise his game a lot of notches if Dima comes out blasting like he did today.
