Chardy saved 4 match points in the final set breaker in a row from 2-6 down to have a match point on his own serve at *7-6 and *7-8 and *9-10

Overall 6 MP saved from Chardy.

Rainer saved about 3 or 4 himself.

Fuck up fest from both in the final set tie-break.

Yeah, Chardy had 3 mp's: *7:6, 8:7 & 10:9. The longest final set tie-break in Schuettler's career.

Go Rainer :yeah:  He has a chance to win the whole thing now for his first title in 5 years. Com'n Rainer :rocker2:

Quite comical to watch but Chardy, with the way he had been serving, should have closed it out on that one MP he had on his own serve.

Schüttler looked very pissed off throughout the breaker.

Had Chardy setpoints in the first set?

It was a hillarious TB, Jeremy saved 4 MP thanks to a net cord and a DF from Rainer. He had a MP on his serve at 7-6 but he played too passive on that point.

Last year Kohlschreiber won in similar fashion final set tie-break against Soderling. Also led 6:2 but later saved 2 mp's: 6:7* & 7:8. There was 7-6(4) 5-7 7-6(8).

Didn't see the first set breaker, watched on from start of the third. Not sure what the score in that one was.

Which was the one where he hit a timid drive volley and netted an easy smash? Can't remember if that was on a match point.

Jeremy should have closed it out before the TB, really. He was serving at 5:3 or so. Had another MP on his own serve in TB as well :silly:

Chardy had a setpoint in the first tie-beak at 6-5 on the serve of Schüettler...

It wasn't on MP, and it wasn't that easy smash, he was fully stretched going backward from the middle of the court, but still he should have made it.

Rainer getting in form before the Wimbledon tourney? :D He needs those points, since the big ranking drop is just around the corner.
Anyone who could upload the final TB? :)

Schuettler's on the road to 'guaranteeing' himself another season, and if the words of some Dutch mug are to be believed on here, he doesn't even want to carry on? :tape:
