who do they want to avoid, in the 1st round? 2nd? 3rd? 4th? Quarters? and semis?
Who would plant them nighmares in the head?

Worst possible draw for Federer or NadalEverko 06-16-2009, 05:07 PM who do they want to avoid, in the 1st round? 2nd? 3rd? 4th? Quarters? and semis? Who would plant them nighmares in the head? oliverbwfc 06-16-2009, 05:09 PM Not sure at what stage they can meet but Soderling would be a nightmare for Rafa Iván 06-16-2009, 05:11 PM Karlovic ballbasher101 06-16-2009, 05:24 PM Nadal does not want to meet Soderling for sure. Haas is playing well so no one wants to face him early. Karlovic is always a nightmare for anyone. chowdahead25 06-16-2009, 05:28 PM Haas, Karlovic, Soderling, Baghdatis, Mahut, or Tipsarevic are nightmares on grass. Ilovetheblues_86 06-16-2009, 05:30 PM Blanka Dent rocketassist 06-16-2009, 05:31 PM Youzhny and Ferrero are tricky unseeded opponents on these courts. Mint Chip 06-16-2009, 05:43 PM Nadal definately does not want to play the Gooch. Who ever does the draw should throw Soderling into rd16 for Nadal. Another 5 setter please :D Federer really shouldn't lose befroe the semis and if he does it would most likely be to someone unexpected Certinfy 06-16-2009, 05:44 PM Bogdanovic  PiggyGotRoasted 06-16-2009, 05:48 PM Baghdatis/Karlovic - Mahut/Youzhny - Haas - Cilic - Soderling/Del Potro/Roddick - Murray - Federer/Djokovic General Suburbia 06-16-2009, 06:17 PM Karlovic may be an annoyance to anyone but his record in GS regardless is abysmal. Good players might not want to play him, but I doubt they'd actually be worried about losing. Soderling took Nadal to five sets last year I think, so we already know that he's a threat to Nadal in grass too. I doubt Federer or Nadal would like Murray in their half of the draw either. Haas is also seeing unusually good form this time of the year. Joao 06-16-2009, 06:23 PM All you have to do against Karlovic is to take care of your own serve. If you don't get broken, then you'll defeat Karlovic in 2 tie-breaks (as the match goes, you get more and more looks at second serves and that's all you need). Arkulari 06-16-2009, 06:27 PM no one wants Muzza on their side of the draw  big hitters are one thing Rafa might want to avoid, namely Soderling, Gonzo, etc RIboy 06-16-2009, 06:29 PM Baghdatis/Karlovic - Mahut/Youzhny - Haas - Cilic - Soderling/Del Potro/Roddick - Murray - Federer/Djokovic  oliverbwfc 06-16-2009, 06:29 PM Karlovic is an obvious one to put in there but honestly his GS record stinks Ariadne 06-16-2009, 06:38 PM I guess I am the only one who WANTS Murray to be on Federer's side of the draw, and furthermore wants his draw to be the toughest possible? :) The worst possible scenario I am afraid of for Roger is complacency which we all know he is oft prone to, a tough draw will help guard against that happening. Everko 06-16-2009, 06:51 PM Tipsarevic could give Federer trouble. Remember their classic at the AO 2008? Fed=ATPTourkilla 06-16-2009, 09:00 PM Gonzo, Tsonga, Soderling or some other power hitter could be nasty for Nadal although he should beat them all if he brings his 2008 Wimbledon form. On grass you would expect Fed to make the semis. He usually schools the power hitters, sometimes loses to the defensive players but on grass he can hit them off the court. zlaja777 06-16-2009, 09:05 PM There is a lot tricky opponents for Nadal (Soderling, Karlovic...) Fed will reach the semis without any problems at all. Lugburz 06-16-2009, 09:32 PM Haas is back on MTF so am I. FedFan_2007 06-16-2009, 09:34 PM Karlovic scares the heck out of me, but I know in the tiebreakers Roger will come through at the worst. el tenista 06-16-2009, 09:47 PM Haas is back on MTF so am I. So are we :) Lugburz 06-16-2009, 09:56 PM So are we :) It's a bit strange wandering around here, but we come as one :D Burrow 06-16-2009, 09:57 PM No way Karlovic would take out Federer or Nadal. rubbERR 06-16-2009, 09:58 PM Karlovic wont even pass 1st round. q.j. 06-16-2009, 10:00 PM I guess I am the only one who WANTS Murray to be on Federer's side of the draw, and furthermore wants his draw to be the toughest possible? :) u are not the only one for so many reasons i would love to see murray in fed's half :lick: heya 06-17-2009, 06:29 AM Murray will always finish the destruction of Fedler Regime in the coming years. Something gonad-lover Roddick, Nadal sometimes, Djoker, Andreev, Berdych, Haas, and Acasuso failed to handle.
