So so close Colin  Couldn't quite manage the win. Great play though. Good day for the Brits overall anyway :D

Served for the first set and then cruised through the 2nd. Oh what could have been

Had those break points in the third set as well, really would have jumped him up the rankings if he'd won :o

Holy crap, how do you lose a set 1-6 to Fleming?

Because Fleming is much better than his ranking. He should have won today. :(

Because Fleming is a fucking great player compared to his ranking.

He really isn't.
Of course he is. He would be about top 200 if it wasn't for the lay off he had in 2006 I think it was. He is a very good player and he will reach further up the rankings in time.

He had a lay off, went back to finish his degree at Stirling uni, and came back onto the tour late last year I think. He's won a few doubles challengers and he even got a couple of doubles rounds at Queens, which is why he withdrew from what was almost a guaranteed WC to qualies at Wimbledon.

Easily got the ability to be top 200.

Or a top 50 doubles player - but not sure where he'll focus his attention in the next while.

He would be top 200 if he didn't keep losing in the first round of challengers, and often in the qualifying for them.

Incidentally, I first saw him play live eight years ago. Looked like he had some promise.
