Boggo winning 35/36 points on his first serve :spit: must've been a hell of a performance by Minar.

Minar and his fantastic returning skills.

Second best performance on grass by Minar, after his brilliant 5 sets loss against Vassallo Arguello in Wimbledon last year! :worship:

Josh Goodall has also won just - his first ever ATP Tour win.

Boggo and Goodall winning on the same day in an ATP main draw - carnage!

Well done Boggo! :woohoo:

In my eyes, he had the toughest R1 match there (barring Fleming)...recovered well after failing to serve it out.

I'd imagine that Lloydy was looking for a reason to begin favouring one of our guys for the #2 Davis Cup singles place...today really hasn't helped him, what with all 3 of our main men winning. A day to remember, and for a good reason for once! :haha:

Hopefully we can get a R2 winner:

Ward vs. Andreev/Dancevic
Goodall vs. Ljubicic
(Fleming) vs. Garcia-Lopez
Boggo vs. (Tursunov)

Obviously all of them would be expected to lose, but none of them are playing ultra-reliable opponents really...so maybe, just maybe, we get one Brit in the QF! :bounce: :bolt:

A great day for British Tennis indeed! in fact a good day for English tennis, which is even rarer, as it was a Scot that let the side down, and that's not normally the case :)
