A healthy Haas is better than Djokovic on a fast surface.

Haas used to be seriously dangerous as an underdog (although not so much recently), although he was pretty fortunate to get through today. So hard to peg his form though these days.

I think this one will depend on what player will get up on wrong foot or right foot tomorrow. They both showed a great deal of inconsistency during the tournament even withing the same match. If Djokovic manages to play passing shots like he did against Melzer he might kill Haasi spirit and make him implode, on the other hand if Tommy gets in the winning groove he could even dominate rallies.

I'm from the future, and I can say that this is indeed the result. In the finals he beat Haas 7-6 6-7 4-6 7-5 11-9
I'm so good. :D

Edit: Wimbledon prediction, before this tournament started.

Nole almost lost to Rochus

Yes, and he's lost to him twice in the past, so we knew that he's a bad match-up for him. Not really surprised that Rochus really tested him.

He will win this is if he want.
And he will win wimbledon too, if he reaches his top games!

What i'm trying to say is, YOU NEVER KNOW WITH NOVAK!

I predict a djokovic win, even when he doesn't play good!
He will play smart enough to win!

I was in Halle all week long and saw Djokovic. He was not playing well at all. If he cannot improve his game today Haas has a good chance to win. But Topplayers usually get a lot better by the end of a tournament.... Should be interesting

Funny that a grass court clown is a hot favourite against a guy that can actually play grass court tennis.

While Haas is still a very good player he's a shadow of his former self, so in my opinion he's doing excellent this year win or lose. He's one of my favorite players and has a beautiful game. He certainly has the game on grass to beat Djokovic, but I feel (and I'm not just saying this as a Djokovic fan) that his mind will ultimately let him down. I expect a close match, but in the end I expect Novak to hold the winning trophy...and Haas will have to console himself with a plate. Could be wrong, but that's what I think will happen.

It's not about who plays better tennis on what surface (on paper Haas is better grass court player). It's about who's hungrier and who has better mentality. Haas has been through a lot in his life and at his age I find it hard to believe that he TRULY believes in himself in big matches/finals. But it's all speculations...we will see what happens. Like I said I like them both and I'm hoping for a great match and may the better man win.

Well Haas is hungry, theres no doubt about that. If he wasn't hungry and didn't believe he could win big matches what would be the point of coming back after injury after injury. Its not like he needs the money. He has won his last 6 ATP finals so its not like he has clowned away MM finals lately. He'll have the crowd behind him and no doubt he'd love to win another title in Germany. Ultimately you're right, on paper he should be winning this but Faker knows how to win big matches.

Well he's a tennis player, it's hard to give something up after doing it all your life. Safin, Ferrero, Kiefer, Moya are only a few names that are still out there playing tennis. They don't need money for sure. But they do it cause that's what makes them happy. However, that doesn't mean that they truly believe that they can win slams, masters series, get back to top 5...that moment is gone. They have different expectations now. Only few weeks ago we saw Haas leading Fed 2:0 in FO...and what happened? He blew it away, that's what happened. Back when Haas was no.2 in the world he would have won that match for sure.
