Queens SF - Murray def. Ferrero 6-2, 6-4

JC never really had a look in this match..

Murray mixing shots, pace and tactics completely threw Ferrero out of balance in the first set. Kudos to him to hang in in the second but it was inevitable that he will surrender his serve sooner or later. Too strong from Andy, great anticipation today.

Boring, uneventful match. Murray on cruise control was good enough to crush Ferrero.

Nah, his backhand on grass is deadly. His forehand is generally a push, i give you that.

Great first set. If he keeps this serving up he's got a real shot at Wimbledon. Backhand is looking very good as well.

:devil: Ferrero does at times struggle to return serve and seriously looked like breaking. When he played in 2003 US Open file as number 1 he seemed to be incapable of returning serve. However, he has lost to the current 2nd favourite for Wimbledon.

He's faced one break point all week and has gone three straight matches without facing a break point. That's some really good stuff going into the finals. He looks super confident at the moment.

Pretty routine passage through to the finals, which is not what we expect of a British player at a British tournament. It was never thus for Henman.

Blake must double bagel him as consolation.

A good tradesman would point out to other fellow tradesman on whether a job might be too difficult for one man... in this case The Tradesman really questioned what the f*** a spainiard was doing in the semi-finals of a grass court tourney... and he was right to question... and a complete professional in allowing 6 games bonus entertainment value for his clintele...

Hardly Murray's fault that Nadal withdrew and Roddick retired. He can only beat the opposition in front of him. IF he beats Blake he will be Queens champion, and nobody will remember that he had some easy matches.

Ah thats ok. Congrats to Murray, but JC had a great week, so I'm proud of him anyway.
