JC never really had a look in this match..
Queens SF - Murray def. Ferrero 6-2, 6-4Billabong 06-13-2009, 01:37 PM JC never really had a look in this match.. rubbERR 06-13-2009, 01:38 PM This match sucked, end of discussion. HeretiC 06-13-2009, 01:39 PM Murray mixing shots, pace and tactics completely threw Ferrero out of balance in the first set. Kudos to him to hang in in the second but it was inevitable that he will surrender his serve sooner or later. Too strong from Andy, great anticipation today. Clydey 06-13-2009, 01:39 PM Too good, Tartan Heart. :worship: Jade Fox 06-13-2009, 01:40 PM Nice job Andy. Didn't face a single break point during this match. Roddickominator 06-13-2009, 01:40 PM Boring, uneventful match. Murray on cruise control was good enough to crush Ferrero. green25814 06-13-2009, 01:41 PM Murray = grass court GOAT this year rubbERR 06-13-2009, 01:42 PM murray the pusher, nothing more nothing less. Goldenoldie 06-13-2009, 01:43 PM This match sucked, end of discussion. I disagree, I think it's start of discussion. First set WOW!! Second set workmanlike. Some people are very hard to please. McAlistar 06-13-2009, 01:44 PM Very easy:cool: green25814 06-13-2009, 01:45 PM murray the pusher, nothing more nothing less. Nah, his backhand on grass is deadly. His forehand is generally a push, i give you that. adee-gee 06-13-2009, 01:46 PM Great first set. If he keeps this serving up he's got a real shot at Wimbledon. Backhand is looking very good as well. fast1 06-13-2009, 01:50 PM Very easy:cool: what do you mean by very easy?http://photosnag.com/img/3322/n09x0302vnsn/clear.gif Andi-M 06-13-2009, 02:08 PM Fit performance. :yeah: Cruised in 3rd gear all match his BH is deadly  Burrow 06-13-2009, 02:09 PM Terribly boring match. miura 06-13-2009, 02:13 PM Expected  Sapeod 06-13-2009, 02:15 PM murray the pusher, nothing more nothing less. rubbERR doing what he does best. Talking absolute bullshit. Getting ready for ACC? :) Murray was anything but a pusher in this match. Lot's of winners and aces. Seriously. Think before you post. Deivid23 06-13-2009, 02:55 PM Murray surely thought during this match: "And this plonker has been #1? What a joke!" Corey Feldman 06-13-2009, 02:56 PM that 1st set was scary good, he's found his power BH again HarryMan 06-13-2009, 03:01 PM Murray looking really good at the moment. However, he has also previously shown us this quality prior to a slam. :) DrJules 06-13-2009, 03:05 PM Murray surely thought during this match: "And this plonker has been #1? What a joke!" Ferrero does at times struggle to return serve and seriously looked like breaking. When he played in 2003 US Open file as number 1 he seemed to be incapable of returning serve. However, he has lost to the current 2nd favourite for Wimbledon. NYCtennisfan 06-13-2009, 04:13 PM He's faced one break point all week and has gone three straight matches without facing a break point. That's some really good stuff going into the finals. He looks super confident at the moment. scoobs 06-13-2009, 04:15 PM Pretty routine passage through to the finals, which is not what we expect of a British player at a British tournament. It was never thus for Henman. Blake must double bagel him as consolation. nadal il mito 06-13-2009, 04:19 PM what a great tournament for murray. seppi, garcia lopez, fish, ferrero and blake.... what a terrific contenders. yeah his is the best on grass with a wide margin from the others. i think the worst queens of all time he will win.fake . MacTheKnife 06-13-2009, 04:23 PM JCF just no match. Kind of sad really. Good performance by Muzza. GlennMirnyi 06-13-2009, 05:27 PM  Queens SF = two boring baseliners. Kore 06-13-2009, 06:04 PM great win for Andy!!! :D fast_clay 06-13-2009, 06:14 PM A good tradesman would point out to other fellow tradesman on whether a job might be too difficult for one man... in this case The Tradesman really questioned what the f*** a spainiard was doing in the semi-finals of a grass court tourney... and he was right to question... and a complete professional in allowing 6 games bonus entertainment value for his clintele... ... though on a more tragic note, i can see Castle right now writing out his script for tomoro... '...that match yesterday John, what a match wasn't it... really laid his claim to the Wimbledon title... just looking back on yesterday it was like a Nadal/Federer type final for Murray with Fererro... Spainiard vs Englishman... with the right result coming up like last years epic Nadal/Federer semi final... Andy Murray's tool bag is amazing...' Kore 06-13-2009, 06:21 PM Spainiard vs Englishman... with the right result coming up like last years epic Nadal/Federer semi final... Andy Murray's tool bag is amazing...' scotsman u mean. The scottish forumites will be up in arms when they read this :p Clydey 06-13-2009, 06:45 PM scotsman u mean. The scottish forumites will be up in arms when they read this :p fast_clay knows what he's doing. He's an Aussie. He can spot a Scotsman from thousands of miles away. roberthenman 06-13-2009, 06:55 PM solid match Andy :yeah: go for the firt atp in grass :wavey: Goldenoldie 06-14-2009, 04:30 AM what a great tournament for murray. seppi, garcia lopez, fish, ferrero and blake.... what a terrific contenders. yeah his is the best on grass with a wide margin from the others. i think the worst queens of all time he will win.fake . Hardly Murray's fault that Nadal withdrew and Roddick retired. He can only beat the opposition in front of him. IF he beats Blake he will be Queens champion, and nobody will remember that he had some easy matches. Ferrero Forever 06-14-2009, 04:52 AM Ah thats ok. Congrats to Murray, but JC had a great week, so I'm proud of him anyway. | |
