Quite an entertaining match, with some good shot making from both, especially Blake. :yeah:

Misha led 5-2* in the TB and got tight. :o

Andy Roddick next.

I like this match up, seems like they are inspiring each other. Very good tennis apart from a 2 games in the middle of the second set when both of them had simply idiotic service games.

I think Blake's matches this week have been the most entertaining. He's back in good form me thinks. ;) It won't be a walk in the park for Andy if Blake keeps this good standard up (minus the lame lapse of concentration here and there).

the last 3 games were the most patheticly played games ever seen on a pro tennis court (by Youzhny)

What a shock Youzhny lost to Blake. Pathetic performance after the tiebreaker and alot of ballbashing in this match. This tournement sucks

I thought the last games "deadly on grass" Djoker played at last Wimbledon were worse, but hey, let's go with this one. :)

good to see Blake stringing some wins

I caught the last few games, which was the first coverage I've seen thus far. Wish I hadn't. Blake has the touch of a rhino, just standing at the service line and attempting to crush those BH returns back. Fortunately for him, Youzhny on grass was like a squid on sand. His effort (particularly his movement when serving) was almost as bad as Nalbandian's performance here against Djokovic last year.

I wish there were more grass tournaments like this though, even faster in fact. You can watch a couple games of this horror and realize how many skills are left unused in today's groundstroke grinding.

Entertaining match overall; pity Youzhny couldn't keep his head after he lost the first set. The game he lost after he broke Blake back was pathetic.

Wow Youzhny has fallen off...a couple years ago and he was up 2 sets to 0 on Nadal at Wimbledon.

Blake seems to be playing better than he has been lately...I don't see him beating Andy though

You shouldn't base your opinion on a couple of points you saw, cause that is so far far away how this match was played. It was very decent match until the middle of the second set, with drop-shots, slices, slices followed by net charges, smart shots behind the opponent.

Did not see the match but it seems as if the Colonel is still in a slump.

I can't comment on the rest of the match and how much better it was, but neither looked comfortable starting with the game when Blake was broken in the second. Youzhny wasn't moving his feet at all and dumping backhands all over the place.

You started to watch from those games we all referred to as extremely retarded. Before that it was quite the opposite. Even the commentators were spot on laughing about who are those players on court all of a sudden and where did Blake and Youzhny go.

Misha spends more time screaming and not enough time hitting winners anymore

pity

It's just sad to see Misha losing all that confidence and getting so tight in pressure situations. Still feel he has many more good results in him. Patience. :)

James showing his talent. Rare, but nice to see.

If Blake had a good "tennis" head on his shoulder he would have achieved greater things than Roddick IMO.

Same goes for the colonel.

I dont think this is any slump, not in the way he will recapture his best form, I think those days are behind him.
