Anyway....not much interesting to report from Queens today, I was mainly on Centre Court.

- Querrey and Blake are clearly good friends, match played in probably the best spirit I've seen in a long time. Lots of "great shots", trusting each other over line calls etc. Nice to see. Blake should've won in straight sets but fell asleep when he almost went a double break up in the 2nd. Sammy Q should be better than he is on grass, doesn't really move well enough though. Also, was it just the shirt he was wearing or is Blake a bit chunky at the moment?

- Muzza played his now regular game of tennis football to start off his training session, with the losers doing some sort of forfeit. Looked very relaxed considering the tournament is his to lose. Solid performance today, it was comfortable. GGL played better than I expected, though the result was never in question. Served extremely well which was pleasing. My only criticism is that I'd like him to go to the net a bit more.

- Roddick vs. Hewitt was a decent match, if lacking somewhat in break opportunities. Hewitt didn't really return Roddick's serve as well as he has in the past. Roddick returned like absolute shit, far too many useless blocked returns. He'll get eaten alive by a good player at Wimbledon if he keeps that up. Other than the returns, he was reasonably good. Bit of controversy in the tie break, as I see Mikey has already latched on to

- Oh, and thanks to the Queens organisers for not telling the crowd what the hell was going on at the start of Roddick vs. Hewitt. They warmed up, and then all of a sudden they sat down for 15 minutes. No-one had a clue what was going on.

Personal highlight of the day ---> Tie between seeing The Gooch :inlove: and getting a photo with commentator GOAT Mark Petchey :worship:

Clown of the day ---> The elderly British guy who was confused as to why Murray was celebrating victory when he'd only won 2 sets....."do they not play best of 5 anymore?" :retard:

Snorefest of the day ---> Practice session between Gil and Schwank. I quite like both of them, but it was one of the worst displays of hitting I've ever seen. Schwank couldn't keep the ball in the court for more than 2 shots.

Point of the day ---> Blake and Querrey had an awesome rally, which Blake ended up winning after a quality hot dog lob.

Small transfer of weight from ass to stomach?

Bit of controversy in the tie break, as I see Mikey has already latched on to

:haha: Never in doubt...

Personal highlight of the day ---> Tie between seeing The Gooch :inlove: and getting a photo with commentator GOAT Mark Petchey :worship:

I fear I might not get to see the Gooch in the flesh...he has sucked too much in this first half of the season.

Hadn't really had the pleasure of Petchey's commentary until this week...he is excellent. :yeah:

Clown of the day ---> The elderly British guy who was confused as to why Murray was celebrating victory when he'd only won 2 sets....."do they not play best of 5 anymore?" :retard:

:haha:

Reminds me of Nottingham a couple of years ago...an elderly lady talking about it being a 'mini Wimbledon.' They sure don't make things how they used to...

Snorefest of the day ---> Practice session between Gil and Schwank. I quite like both of them, but it was one of the worst displays of hitting I've ever seen. Schwank couldn't keep the ball in the court for more than 2 shots.

Dunno what has happened to Schwank this year. :help: Deliberately spent quite a bit of time watching his practice sessions and matches at Notts last year, and he looked pretty good (had continued his pre-RG form). Seen a couple of his matches this year, and it isn't the same guy anymore. Hope he rediscovers his form rather sharpish.

Thanks for taking the time to post your report(s) and photos mate. :worship:

Bring out the Barca shirt on the Tuesday, because the legends of Marc Lopez and Maxi Lopez Vicente will be there, anything from those cats would be appreciated.

The Gooch is a friendly giant, hope the cannon serve is working, funniest is Luczak going there with his severe Western grip, that on grass is funny stuff.

The main draw has a lot of potential as well.

Murray isn't too bad, not quite in the Lobo or Vicente class.

Sorry to anyone that followed me on Twitter today, it wasn't the most exciting of days because I couldn't have cared less about 80% of the matches :o

It seems a lot of my pictures have come out badly :retard: I dunno why, I think I should've changed my exposure settings. I'll post some of the better ones anyway.

Ok a little report for those who didn't read my updates.......

- Saw the end of Cuevas vs. Decoud. Not really enough to comment much about the match, I didn't recognise Cuevas at first because I only remember him with long hair. And he's got a bigger serve than I realised. Decoud wasn't best pleased at the end, he smashed his racquet against his bag about 25 times

- Very impressive stuff from Ryler DeHeart, his game is really suited to grass. I was going to predict him to qualify, but I've just seen his draw and it's an absolute bitch, so maybe not. Very capable of taking out Cuevas though.

- Great match between Rochus and Dent, watched a lot of it. Drew the biggest crowd of the day, and probably justified it with the quality. Dent surprised me, he barely came to the net for the first 2 sets, but his groundstrokes were holding up, especially the forehand which he hit quite a few winners off. After the first set they realised the net was too high which pissed Rochus off :o Dent played a shocker of a tie break in the 2nd, but regrouped and did well to win the 3rd. He looks pumped, he was jumping around at the end.

- JRL :worship: what a legend. I missed his big argument with the umpire, apparently he got a violation and didn't agree with it. Anyway, at the end of the match he refused to shake hands with the umpire. Then the umpire comes down off his chair and is standing near a trash can. Lisnard starts throwing stuff from his bag towards the trash can but hits the umpire :spit: I dunno if it was on purpose or not. But then the umpire starts walking off the court, and Lisnard shouts "I think you should find another job, it's not fair on the rest of the players if you do anymore matches". I thought there was gonna be a fight :o

- Pretty entertaining match between Munoz-De La Nava and Cipolla, several good rallies. Only watched the end of the first set, it's the first time I've seen Munoz-De La Nava and it's pretty clear he's a clay court specialist, but his heavy forehand is fairly useful. I expected Cipolla to come through, but he lost a tight one.

- Rui Machado was another impressive performer, his forehand is quality. Enjoyed watching him, seems like he's a nice guy as well. I hope he wins tomorrow so I can get a better look on Thursday.

- Only watched a few games but Adrian Mannarino was another entertaining player, extremely talented. Should be higher ranked than he is imo.

- Jaroslav Pospisil is officially the worst professional I've ever watched. He made Luczak look like Pete Sampras. Gooch came over to watch his compatriot for a bit, and at one point looked at Luczak and they both started pissing themselves, presumably at Pospisil's inability to put a shot in the court. In fact, even if he was allowed the doubles lines he still would've struggled to win games. Shameful.

- I still can't work Tomic out, he's a strange one. His strut around the court pisses me off, and his forehand is nothing more than a bunt, yet somehow manages to be relatively successful at this level. No chance he'd get away with it against good players, but it did the job today. Brzezicki has a rather strange right arm, it seems to go in about 4 different directions (see picture). He also sticks his tongue out while he hits shots. All in all, a bizarre match

I'll upload some photos soon :D

Thanks mr. Adam, about De Heart remember he was facing Felder who was one of the weakest of the draw. Cipolla :o I was seeing on the livescore, really hard fight but not a match I would like to see. Machado is a good player, but he had an easy draw until now. Pospisil  don´t say that about him, he's a aclay court specialista and is having a very difficult year, he can improve. Tomic will improve hiis forehand, he has the technique but he is still too young and he is like one of those kid who has a late puberty, so we need to wait a bit more before hew becomes the goat.
That´s my opinion. thanks for the report. :wavey:

Thanks for the excellent report and pics. The setup looks pretty good at Roehampton. Good to see Dent was very happy with his win. Would be good to see him have a good Wimbledon even if it were to be at Looch’s expense. at Lisnard’s dummy spit. He looks so much older than he is. Still a great player though. Nah they play them at Roehampton, it's a couple of miles away from Wimbledon. Main draw players are already practicing at the AELTC, but they don't let the public in.

I watched the match today - Gonzalez was playing surprisingly well, not a bad grass court game for a Mexican. Willing to come to the net and throw in the odd serve-volley.

Bemelmans was really disappointing, I heard good things about him but he did almost nothing right today, so many unforced errors.

Not the best of it :(

There was needle the whole way through though. Even in the 3rd set, there were a lot of glares, swearing and gamesmanship. The injury time put Almagro took pretty much put the seal on it, Pico had just choked serving for the match and was left to sit on it for 10 mins. Almagro was fine. Straight after that, Pico got a lucky dead netcord and instead of apologising, screamed "vamos". It was all downhill after that

I actually haven't seen Roger at all, he might be practicing on the courts which the public can't get to.

 I saw some of it today. He's not as bad on grass as I expected, he almost seemed comfortable on it, made some ventures to the net etc. The odd point he was made to look a bit foolish, but all in all he looked ok. I did notice that he has an odd service motion, pardon me for being a bit politically incorrect but he almost looks a bit handicapped as he serves.

He did a funny little video dance after he clinched the win, I'm gutted I didn't get it on camera :(
Thank you for the Devilder pics Adam... even if they weren't for me :p

Don't suppose you've taken any I'd like yet other than that?

Oh and other than the obvious Andrei/Horia (and Devilder) that you know I'd like, can also request Kohlschreiber if you happen to see him around? (remember how many lovely photos of Sorana/Alize/Sania/Kiri I too for you in January ;) )
 no problem.

I took some of Andrei yesterday, I saw a bit of his match. But it was during the bad period that the glare from the sun kills my camera ---> e.g. http://i44.tinypic.com/2055vr8.jpg and http://tinypic.com/r/2ami6r/5

One of the Romanian girls I was with spoke to Horia for ages, I couldn't really take pictures though. I promise I will take lots tomorrow for you ;) (and I didn't realise you like Kohli, I actually wanted to go to his match today but it was too busy, I'll keep an eye out for him).
and I'm very sad that the Dani videos are just showing as white boxes for me :(
Oooh

Thank you Adam :)

As for Kohli... at the AO I watched some of his matches because there was nothing else on and I liked him then, and now more recently I've found myself watching his results more and more (and I :hearts: his serve). I couldn't take any photos in January because it was after the sun had started going down :(
I'm glad he managed to pull through today so you have a chance to still look out for him!! (but he's playing Federer next so tomorrow is pretty much the last chance :awww: )

All of Dent's pics/videos need a blue dot over his face or a censor blur.
His tennis faces make Djokovic's look down right stoic.:p
It is obscene.

Highlights of the day:

- A guy showing off his "tennis knowledge" to his friend, then pointing to Mardy Fish and saying "look, it's Roddick.....I'm a big fan of his".

- Djokovic singing during his practice session with Tsonga.

- Joshua Goodall raging at the umpire for his match because he wouldn't let him keep the Wimbledon towel. "They can afford it, don't you think?"

- Being within 10 feet of the legendary Brad Gilbert at the Levine-Cuevas match. I bottled out of asking him for a photo though :(

- Andrei Pavel being told he looks 25, so he responds with "thanks, but I feel 45"

- RogiGOAT's collection of fangirls screaming when he came past the autograph booth. Azarenka and Vesnina had to stop playing and find out what was going on.

- Pat Cash being heckled by a drunken group of Brits. "You're an Aussie twat". :spit:

- Good stuff from Picasso, slicing and dicing his way to victory. Shameful tank in the 5th by Zverev though.

- Disappointing lack of the worm celebration from Sexy :(

- Some woman feinted while watching Cuevas and Mayer practice. I think it was Snoo Foo.

Yeah, I joined the queue at 8.25 yesterday and got in at about 3.30pm! 7 hours and there were thousands still joining after me (was about no.10400). It was craziness. I missed the initial Ground capacity by about 200 people, so I had to endure one in one out. Never again am I going that 'late', but it was my own fault for oversleeping 2 hours!

Have fun tomorrow, looks like it's going to be a great day.

I haven't seen them play, but I'd be interested in looking at Alexander Domijan, Devin Britton, Filip Horansky and Marin Draganja. And on the women's side, the obvious one to watch is Kristina Mladenovic. Others I'd be on the look out for are Sloane Stephens, Beatrice Capra, Ana Bogdan and Alja Tomljanovic.

That's for the ones who are scheduled to play tomorrow, so no Berta.

Thanks for the suggestions :hatoff:

Today was boring, I'll do a little report anyway:

- Mardy is such a joker  he spent almost his whole practice session today trying to whack balls at people. Blake got the worst of it, but his coach, fans and a steward also got the treatment. Funny guy.

- Verdasco spent his whole session trying to return serves. He got his hitting partner to hit serves from the service box :o it still didn't serve him to well :help:

- Roddick was supposed to practice with Wawrinka on a court, but they decided it was too hot so they played indoors. Shameful :ras:

- I'll do my reports on the juniors tomorrow, along with the pictures :D
