i haven't watched a Youzhny match in like a year, it's too bad that he's fallen quite a bit after always being a threat to beat Nadal. But good match for Mikhail!

So Youzhny won the battle of the living dead. These two have been playing some shockingly horrible tennis of late :o. Baggy has had injuries but the Colonel has no excuse for his garbage play.

And Youzhny had no injury setbacks last year?

Too my knowledge I don't think he had any serious injuries like Baggy. Do you know something I don't?.

Most of the year consisted of injuries and more or less short-lived comebacks

Last year he started the year well beating Rafa in the final in Chennai. I saw him play at the Dubai championships and Rotterdam and his play was far from convincing. The injuries may have happened but his poor form had started earlier in my view.
