Poor play from Berdych.

Saved 3MPs in a row, only to scupper 2 of his own...

Very exciting match. Mugs butting heads. Berdych missed a sitter on match point by like a mile. Oh my! And this guy was the last guy to win Halle before Fed?

:retard: tiebreak. Zverev's solid baseline game with 17 ue's got him through. Berdych hit 47 ue's.

:( He could use another warmup up tourny before Wimbledon

I must be the only one to think that Zverev was pushing in that tie break. He hit everything to Berdych and he was missing. Pathetic performance and the best thing he did in that match was break his racquet

Oh noes, That means Fed won't win Wimbly this year. :sobbing:

Zverev didn't need to do more than pushing against an UE machine.

Not surprised at all about the outcome, I thought that Zverev might def Berdych, but I am completely surprised how he beat him. He did not play his usual S&V in the deciding set, Tomas punished him previously with passing shots (especially few sweet BH DTls), but he decided to play from the baseline and gave up the initiative. Berdych was the dominant one, dictating rallies, making errors or winners. It was up to Berdych and he failed after saving 3 MPs in the TB and TBH Zverev couldn't do anything more on them. They were both on many occasions quite close to wrap that 3 rd set earlier and failed, gave the break back or failed to convert BPs.

Zverev within last 12 months won three matches after saving match points. Berdych shoul have won second match point, it was an easy backhand down the line...

really a shame berdych is such a headcase. you can just see it on his face he doesnt have it in him. but the game... maybe not the best mover around, esp on 'exotic' surfaces as grass (wimby best QF 07, else R2,3,4s), but the strokes, even serve - top class. his high ball response is my favorite with him...

weird racket smash if I ever saw one.

Berdych won in Munich three matches in the final set tie-break. I think today he played great tennis saving 3 consecutive match points but at 8:7 fucked up an easy shot

Tomas :retard: too busy being Fedtard and not practicing on grass.

Had Federer on the ropes in Australia and failed to kill him. Lacks that killer mentality.

Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

A Berdych special.

Berdych cost Federer Olympic gold so I have no sympathy for the guy or should I say no sympathy for the devil . I do like him when he beats Nadal :clap2:.

Berdych comes through again.

Zverev can keep winning here and in England. He has the game for it.

Mr. No Charm didn't have to try in Berdych's Australian Open 4th round chokefest. Zverev actually had to control his mind, and stretch his racket for a real win over Berdych. No huge luck and muscle flexibility to aid Zverev.
