Ok - you might but the rest of us won't, unless we can find a stream. And even then it takes the fun away because you can't concentrate properly!

At least today they staggered them! I am furious.

Women first on both courts. :banghead:

Thought were WAH tomorrow?

As for the women - never thought I wold say this - but let them be loooooong, 3-set thriillers with many breaks of serve  In other words, let me get home first!

I am WAH tomorrow - precisely because I expected to see 2 men's QFs. Ok -I'll get Roger - Gael I know but I wanted my Giraffe too.

Bastards. :fiery: And if Nole had got through we wouldn't have got him on TV.

Typical French  Like to do things their own way. Though I can kind of see the logic of playing at exactly the same time, at least that way no one has any kind of unfair timing advantage over the other  Perhaps they have a bad weather forecast for tomorrow?

Huge serve, excellent ground strokes and he doesn't seem to get flustered. Roger will have to exploit his relative lack of speed.

God I feel exactly the same. When Nole was still in the tourney I was really conflicted over my loyalty to my favourite player and wanting my second favourite to complete his career Slam. The fact that Rafa was still in the comp as well made it slightly easier to cheer for Nole-Rafa final because I really wanted to see a rematch. But now that Rafa and Nole are out I reallyreallyreally want Roger to win. He would have won the French multiple times if it wasn't for Nadal. (Though I still feel like the title would be worth more if he could have wrestled it from Rafa like Rafa wrestled Wimby from him)

So goooo Roger for tonight! Delpo, I'm beginning to really :hearts: you but please just let history be made  And I hope Gonzo wins the other semi. Have never really warmed to Sod. Also hope that semi is fast otherwise it will be quite late before I see Federer-Delpo

Don't you dare Elle, isn't Nole enough? :p

kidding!

I kind of like them both to be honest - but do prefer Soderling, and must admit I still get a bit  with Gonzo over that Olympics incident with Blake last year  Also I think Soderling probably deserves to win for taking out the Number 1 seed, and him winning it would be a real fairytale story too. Nice to see Bjorn Borg there to support him

I couldn't agree more. :)

Borg

I reckon it would be a double-edged sword for Soderling to win this. It would be good that he won it after beating one of the toughest opponents in the tournament's history, but on the other hand I doubt he'd ever be able to repeat it anywhere else, and would be seen as a fluke slam-winner.

Totally random, but I think 'Delpo' sounds horrible! :rolls:

Random, part 2: someone is making an awful noise outside! It sounds like some drill thing from the dentist  My teeth hurt when I only hear it! Watching tennis with my mp3 on now  It even hurts when I only write about it :rolls:

Ouch! :awww:

Yes - that could possibly be true. But, at the end of the day, I think most players would prefer being a "fluke slam winner" than never having won one at all

Can't agree with you on this one. He'll be in the history books forever. I always think it's bs to call someone a fluke slam-winner. They also had to win 7 matches, no? And everyone will remember this edition of RG anyway. If you win one slam, or 14, I think it's always something special. No, I really don't agree with you

You and your Magnus - almost as bad as me and Miljan

Btw - the guy I know who used to work with Del Potro, has just started working with your Marcos Baghdatis now So if I ever find out any Marcos news, I'll be sure to let you know

It is!

But I do admit, I like Magnus slightly better than Miljan. Good for you right?
