Münich SF : Berdych def Chardy 6-1 5-7 6-2

Jeremy :tape:

UE fest. Played horrible for the first and third sets, played some nice tennis in the second. Berdych didnt have to do much, didnt see the stats at the end but doubt either his winners and UE count went over 10. All he had to do was to keep the ball in play and wait for Chardy to do something, which was to blast it out most often.

Will have an extra day to prepare for Madrid though i suppose. :o Good luck in the final i suppose Berdych. Didnt really see anything special in his game, just good serving and some good defense.

Berdych played some good tennis today, then again he does this at MM events. Chardy hit some big forehand winners in the 2nd set, but Berdych served too well.

Berdman and Youzhny have had some very close matches in past, hope it's the same tomorrow.

Dedicated to bilbo and Jolan Gago.

The Birdshit got lucky.

Jeremy :tape: Disgusting. All Berdych had to do was keep the ball in play and Jeremy would either hit a winner or hit it out, literally, and it was out 70% of the time. I doubt either of Berdychs winners or UEs went over 10. Didnt see anything in his game.

Not bad from Berdych, but to be honest Chardy made it easy for him in the first and third set. IMO Berdych played better yesterday but then again he did not needed that level today, so probably he can lift his game higher if needed. Although Youzhny is having a bad season so far, I don't think it is going to be easy for Berdych, they played 2 times already this season, both times in 3 sets, each of them with 1 win. Should be a close one.

Nice to see some patience from the Birdman, especially in that third set. The old Tomas would have tried to bludgeon winners instead of waiting for the inevitable Chardy error.

Should be a good one vs. Misha in the final.

They have good matches, they played in the Munich semi 2007 and the Colonel won it 6-4 6-3, only time they played on clay.

best of luck to Youzhny :rocker2:
