I still believe roger can beat murray and djokovic in a slam. He is having some problems in previous rounds (Tipsarevic and Berdych in AO and Andreev in USO) that he hadnt before, but I think he can make the finals.There...well...it is the first time nadal has play so many matches before the french, and Roger has nothing to loose...even playing crap he should surpass last year performance in the final.
Nadal isnt a machine...his head could start thinking "some time I will loose here", just like Federer at wimbledon.

Nadal is going to get seriously beaten up by psychopath Daniel Koellerer in the 2nd round (a conspiracy about a joined effort to get rid of Nadal by other players in the tour including Federer and Djokovic will circulate the internet for many years thereafter).

Djokovic ready to make Nadal bite the red dust!

A week after worrying claycourt king Rafael Nadal in Madrid, Novak Djokovic feels he has what it takes to clinch the French Open at the expense of the world number one.

Spaniard Nadal, who is undefeated at Roland Garros since his debut in 2005, lost in the Madrid Masters final to Swiss Roger Federer a day after saving three match points against Djokovic in a four-hour tussle.

“The semi-final against Rafa in Madrid gave me even more self belief that I might win in our next encounter,” the world number four told reporters on Friday.

The fourth-seeded Djokovic, who has lost to Nadal in the semi-final of the French Open for the past two years, will not be in the champion’s half of the draw.

Instead, Djokovic could face Federer in the last four, leaving him to hope Nadal’s semi-final opponent would repeat the favour he did for the Swiss in Madrid.

“I have not seen the match, but they told me he (Nadal) wasn’t moving quite well. I mean, obviously because of the long match we had played the day before,” the 2008 Australian Open champion said.

However, Djokovic was aware of the size of the task facing him if he is to depose Nadal in Paris.

“If you talk about my matches on this claycourt season against Rafa, basically looking at each match I am getting closer and closer,” he said.

“So there is only one more point to go. But it’s not that easy. Again, I’m saying I played probably one of the best matches in my life against him on clay, even though I lost it.”

It's irrational. Djoker has yet to beat Nadal on any form of clay in any format. And now someone people think he will WIN over Nadal at the FRENCH OPEN in 5-sets.

Past-history: No
People seem to think that close loss on fast clay in a 3-set match in madrid = win on slower clay in 5-set match. No chance.

Only 61% of the tennis expertise in MTF voted Nadal, so I guess it is a good bet to put money on someone else. Betfair is giving 450 times the money on Roddick winning the french but I see almost 7% voted for him, good enought odds for me.

With Federer's luck, he still needed more luck to beat Nadal in Miami, Hamburg and Madrid. You've conveniently forgotten the Rome 2006 final. Don't forget Shanghai 2006, US Open 2007, 2009 Miami and Madrid quarterfinal, where Federer needed a less than athletic opponent to hand him a gift while Federer was down a break....Federer needed more luck with the opponent's cut finger in the 3rd set.

Are you obsessed by Federer or something? Like one of those psychos in movies with photos and articles of some famous person everywhere in his house with the letters "I FUCKING HATE YOU" and "DEAD MAN WALKING" marked with his own blood on every one of them, is that you? Do you dream nightmares about Federer every night? Do your wellbeeing depend on him not succeeding on a tennis court? Do you think Federer is accountable for the failures in your life?
