lamentable noticia, espero que la directiva se ponga als pilas y hagana algo para que el feña vuelva, a pesaar de que quero que juegue en copa davis, lo apoyo en su determinacion , yos e que el feña jugara siempre por Chile, y si esta tomando esta medidica es porque cree que als cosas estan mal, espero que asi los que tienen que tomar cartas en el asunto se den cuenta de lo que estan haciendo . La Federación de Tenis de Chile lamenta el comunicado de nuestro jugador de Copa Davis Fernando González, planteado públicamente en su sitio web oficial, y declara que la Federación está con las puertas abiertas para conversar cualquier tema que estime pertinente.

Fernando González ha sido un integrante muy importante para nuestro equipo de Copa Davis; respetamos y valoramos lo que ha hecho deportivamente por nuestro país, y esperamos que pueda rectificar su postura actual, para así volver a contar con su presencia en el equipo de Copa Davis en confrontaciones futuras defendiendo los colores de Chile.

Boycotts hardly lead to substantial changes anyway. The names may change but corruption will remain the same in most cases.

Basically Gonzalez is jumping off the ship before it sinks even lower.
