After cancelling Rome '08, Nole stands to lose 1000 points, but if he wins 250 points in Belgrade, with 90 Sydney points dropping out he'll have 8830 points on Monday May 11, while Murray will remain on 8810.

Is there anything wrong in the calculation? (It is assumed that the worst "optional" is going out from the rankings breakdown.)

Already discussed here (http://www.menstennisforums.com/showthread.php?t=142947) and the answer is no, he will be #4 on May 11th

What's tricking you is Murray's lowest optional (250 from Doha) being pushed off his list for one week while Rome 2008 and Rome 2009 both count, then coming back on when ROme 2008 is dropped. Rome 2008 = 70, so Murray's score goes up by 180 on May 11.

That's it then. Thanks :)
