He is contemplating hip surgery that will sideline him through his upcoming Davis Cup tie at the least. If that happens he wont play.

Associated Press

BUENOS AIRES, Argentina -- David Nalbandian may need surgery on his right hip and could miss Argentina's Davis Cup quarterfinal against the Czech Republic in July.

Nalbandian withdrew from the Barcelona Open earlier this week, complaining of hip pain.

His physician in Europe, Angel Cotorro, told the Argentine newspaper Clarin that Nalbandian would receive three or four days of treatment including physical therapy and medication before a decision is made on surgery.

Argentina lost the Davis Cup final last year to Spain and is among the favorites to reach the final again with a team lead by world No. 5 Juan Martin del Potro and the 15th-ranked Nalbandian.

Argentina faces the Czech Republic from July 10-12 in Ostrava.

I predict almost 10 withdrawals really.

Lots of injured players right now.

Questionable: Monfils, Gasquet, Tursunov, Ancic, Ginepri, Calleri, Nishikori, Pavel

EDIT: Also Santoro hasn't played on clay this season. Will he play RG?

Tursunov won't play according to Tarpi:

MOSCOW, May 19 (Reuters) - Russia's Dmitry Tursunov will miss the French Open, which starts next week, because of a heel injury, his Davis Cup coach Shamil Tarpishchev said on Tuesday.

"After undergoing surgery recently, he still has a lot of pain in his left heel so he would not be able to play in Paris," Tarpishchev said of the world number 23, who reached the third round at Roland Garros last year.

"Hopefully, Dmitry will be back to full strength in time for Wimbledon."

Both Monfils and Nishikori are injured, Kei has already pulled out of RG, but they still play that Guinot Mary Cohr Masters exho  Murray was obviously not feeling well today, Nadal must be tired from the last week matches, half of the other participants are injured and those people still organize an exho only days before RG. Very dumb idea IMO

Depending on the number of spots, it will be determined by lots from the highest remaining seeds that lost the last round of qualies.
