I'm hoping for Robin Soderling!

interesting last 4
Robin Soderling should make final

other semi is pretty close
Gasquet should do it but i won't be shocked if he loses to Henry.

Robin Soderling for the title

Richard Gasquet vs. Robin Soderling final

with Richard winning the title ;)

But I hope the back injury won't bother Richard too much :(

It's a tossup between Gasquet & Soderling. Both have just been destroying the competition so far.

But I'd like Richard to win it, since he's on my tracking list :D

And now he's up 2-1 in the third, with a break of serve.

Richard won 3-6 7-6(4) 6-4 :D

He fought back again like he did at RG juniors against Dudi Sela :).

2 match points!

At least now I know why I voted for Henry. :D

Well done Rich, just one more match. :bounce:

I like Baghdatis´ style. He hits hard.
It should make for a good match, if Marko can keep calm. Richard seems to be in a league of his own right now, though.

Good luck, Richard. Let's make it two Slams in a row. That'll give the boys on tour something to jabber about ;)

Also, good luck to Elke Clijsters in girls' doubles!

I did not follow the scoreboard too closely but Marco was leading 5/3 and then had 1 or 2 set points before Richard came back.

It's nice to have a player from Cyprus BTW. Tennis is becoming more and more international (like this board). I love it!

That's why I said "apparently". Just looking at the scoreline, you can't always tell what happened.

Thanks for setting the record straight, though :)

It's a bit hard to believe that two years ago, Andy Roddick was playing in the boys' singles final . . . well, for me it is, anyway.

Ugh, I need not think while I'm trying to follow a match!!

2-1 Richard

TennisHack

Wow, this is a hotly contested match, so far! I came in at 6-5, and so far the players have been neck-and-neck. All of Baghdatis's games in the second set have been deuce games, and Richard's have almost been!

RICHARD BREAKS!! 3-1

TennisHack

4-1 Richard is on a roll, now :)

Keep it up, Richard. :)

LOL, that's me hitting the refresh button over and over and over :D

If you're watching the scoreboard, could you post the netcam pictures if there ever are any? It slows down my connection considerably to run the full scoreboard.

5-2 Richard.

Richard said this should be his last junior event.

So I guess he's gonna play more challengers and tour qualies.

Also, I haven't heard anything about that yet but I'm quite sure he will have a wildcard for the Paris masters-series, at least I hope.

TennisHack

RICHARD WINS!!! 7-5, 6-2

Second slam in a row!! :) CONGRATS!!

Tryphon

People who are there should be able to watch both. :(

WON !! BRAVO RICHARD. :bounce:

TennisHack

Wow, then, what a great way to go out--taking another boys singles crown. He's only 16  and he's already focusing on challengers and quallies?! I can't wait to see more of him!!

I also hope he gets a wildcard into the TMS Paris event. At this point, I don't see how he couldn't . . .

Yeah that's very young to turn pro and I hope he won't burn out. He still has a lot to learn.

On the other hand, with the kind of ATP ranking he already has, I understand that he is impatient to play at that level.

Just read he's got wildcards for Palermo and Lyon.

I'm so sorry. I was detained and couldn't follow anymore. :( Or I would have gladly posted some netcam pics.
