Ellen :wavey: Good evening :) Yes - I'm ready - just been watching a replay of Tsonga (in bright yellow), and then Ljubicic (in bright orange). They look like a collection of citrus fruits ripe for picking :)

Nole can be the kiwi in the fruit bowl then. Don't shoot me, but I'm starting to like the green  And the cap too. I've never liked it, have no idea what's wrong with me.

No - just been fighting and got yet another abscess  Vet gave him a slow-release antibiotic injection and some pain killers and anti-inflammatories. Says she thinks they'll do the trick - if not I have to take him back on Friday morning and he'll have to have a minor procedure to have it lanced  He's asleep on the arm of my chair right now

Just in time!

Hey Lee...was Roger playing football with Nole? Cause I know they have had problems in the past but Nole has two pictures of Roger from IW kicking a ball in his gallery. I think they may have been...anyway that was a totally off topic fangirlish question but I was pleasantly surprised to see Rog there. :)

I mentioned in my blog here which I put up last night ;)

Not sure if there's another encounter but the one I saw on last Thursday. It's almost the end of Nole's fun time in the grass area (all the pics and vids I post in this thread) and Roger came to warm up before he hit the practice court. They exchanged a few words and Roger kicked back a few strayed football back ;) You can't say they are friendly in the way Nole is with Viktor and Janko  but they are definitely not like what MTFers believe.

Just finished watching Novak's match with Haas. I don't know how to describe it. Both guys are good-looking, and both are a bundle of nerves who are ready to break down any moment. Tonnes of emotions from both. I'd say Nole is excellent in the 1st set. He seems to be getting his vintage back at times. However, his mood has darkened compared to yesterday and this brought us onto his emotional roller coaster. Excellent when under pressure and he's serving very well. Hopefully he can keep on improving throughout the tournament. Ajde Nole!

Dunno bout you guys, but I prefer Nole pissed instead of quiet and lethargic. That was a proper curse fest from both sides in the 2nd. Haas has got a look of a madman from time to time.:scared: I admit, that makes him all the more attractive.:o

Of course, my favourite Nole is the super-charged-falcon-kill Nole. Appeared once more for the match point, you could just sense from the moment he fired that return it's going to be the final blow.

Needs more focus during break consolidation though.

But getting there.;)

Something I have noticed. Haas has his career high ranking at #2 and yet at the age of 30 he only has about 9 million USD in career earnings and 11 titles. Nole, being 9 years younger, has already got 1 more title than Haas, 2 million USD more in prize money and yet he's still stuck at #3 and is at risk of falling to #4. Is that insane? It's so honoured that Nole is in the era with Fed and Nadal.

"I was a break up (in the second set) and had some chances to finish the match a little before now, but he stepped it up," Djokovic said.

"It got a bit intense out there -- we saw some racquets broken, on his side and mine, and a bit of swearing. I hope the people didn't hear that."

:spit: I gotta say, the only thing I remember hearing Nole say was "I could have finished that 3 times by now, but what the fuck did I do?!" (cursing after one of those rallies in the 2nd when he kept missing all those BPs).

Now what I've read from his lips is far more obscene.

Still couldn't overshadow Haas in that department. :rolls:
