Peru looking forward to Quito

Peru's Davis Cup by BNP Paribas team of Ivan Miranda, Mauricio Echazu and Alvaro Raposo have been in training recently, preparing for their tie against Ecuador in Quito on May 8-10.

Following Luis Horna's resignation last week, Ivan Miranda has now taken the responsibility of getting the team ready for the upcoming match. He is aware that the team is not in ideal shape at the moment, but is confident that on the day, the team will put together a victory.

“We will fight in Quito to try to reach the World Group Play-offs. We know it will be hard, though, because they are in a better position in the ranking and will also have the home court advantage. We have not the same possibilities playing without Horna but we are going to give a surprise,” said Miranda.
