yeah it's sad that it's expensive to travel around the world to stalk your fav player. And school/ work leaves no time for stalking your fav as well. So we have to be happy with the chances we have. There are so many who are unable to see his/ her fav once in their life

I remember the swiss-indoors 2 years ago when Rogi played Roddick, it was the last match at the quarters nearly at midnight!! And all publics were waiting till these two startet!! it was amazing!! The power of Roddicks services and Roger's magician game!!!! (he won :cool: )

i recorded that match. they had tb in the first set, and Roger won it easier in the 2nd, seemed like Roddick gave up and got frustrated from Roger's beautiful shots! :lol:

The fans from Switzerland have to be really grateful that we have to wonderful tournaments and also one for the women - not "normal" for such a small country like Switzerland!
I don't know if I would have the chance to go abroad to visit other tournaments - so I am really happy that i had the possibility to get tickets for every male-tennis-activity this year (DC, Gstaad and now Basel) !!!

And even on TV - if there is tennis on then its mostly from Roger that's great aswell!
Sometimes it really is a advantage to live in such a small country... ;)

Sorry it took me so long to answer, I hadn't been in this thread for a while :o

I was mainly in Zurich- my dad is working there but I also visited different places- I've been with a friend of mine to Luzern and a couple of other friends in Flumsberg. I wanted to go up to the peak of Schilthorn but the weather didn't cooperate unfortunately :sad:

1) Roger was lobbed and made a "between the legs" absolute passing while Roddick was at the net. The "between the legs" shot is seen "quite" often now but this one was the perfect one, perfect passing!

2) Roddick made a smash at the net and Roger smash it back(!) with an incredible power. On a fast surface this shot was also really incredible to see!

I basically never saw those 2 shots in any "compilation" and i still wonder why, they were definitely in my all time top 10 points i would say...

yesterday wasn't so bad, Ivo defeated Taylor Dent with some good play, and good to see Krati playing well in the doubles. Wawrinka played well too.

of course I couldnt expect that he will reach the semis but I hoped it of course and then he couldnt even play - that was hard...

but now I have to say that I am still looking forward to Saturday and perhaps I will see him somewhere - who knows.. ;)
And this year I had the chance to see him playing already during DC in april and in Gstaad so I can't say anything... i should be grateful.... :smash:
