"Hello everyone once again".

"This e-mail is to state something due to the rumours of my quitting the Olympics Games. This statement is NOT EXACT".

"I do confess that my being there is very doubtful, and that just the thought of not going generates a disappointment even greater than anyone could imagine. I'm the only person that knows what not making this dream of representing Argentina in Athens come true would means".

"And I must state clearly that nobody could ever feel the sadness or pain the comments I've heard cause me, not even if you tried to be in my shoes. But I am strong and, just like I did during my whole career, I'll keep on fighting".

"As regards my injury, on Tuesday I had some examination performed on me and, according to what I was explained (I must quote some medical sentence) it is called SLAP. It is originated in a fibrocartílago* (called Labrum) that surrounds the bone of the shoulder, where the humerus articulates and the long portion of the biceps is inserted. However, this injury may or may not be associated to the unstability of my shoulder".

"Besides, I have what is called back friction of the shoulder syndrome, something secondary to the SLAP injury. It is a tendinosis* and, luckily, it seems to be no breakage whatsoever".

"On Friday, I will have some other check-ups done so the doctors have a more accurate diagnosis and can tell me the steps to be followed. I will visit the best specialists of Argentina on this kind of injuries as well as the doctors abroad, and then we will take ALL the concerning decisions".

"I want to thank you for the support you always give me and I want you to know that I will make anything to be as soon as possible in the circuit".

"Once again, I wish I could stop paying attention to some comments but I can't. A lot of people say that I ask for trainer during the matches when I am losing, as a tactic to distract my opponent, but that is not true".

"Every time I have asked for the trainer was for an injury. This one on the shoulder begun to bother me when I faced Carlos Moya in Roland Garros. It bothered me again when playing the final against Gaudio, but I kept playing and lost the match in the court. And as far as I recall, my shoulder was bothering during the grass season, but lost my three matches on the court too. It seems some people don't remember all this facts".

"So, again, I am very sad because this chance of missing the chance to represent Argentina in the Olympics Games, but If this happens, know that in four years' time I will have another chance of fighting for a place in the team".

"That's the way it is: no matter if it sounds cheesy, I will never give up the dream of winning an Olympic medal and be able to listen to the hymn while I watch our flag up there".

By the way, the word with the "*" beside it is in Spanish.

Well, I'd love to see he playing The Olympic Games ( and maybe winning a gold medal) and also in US Open, but I don't think he will be able to do this. Anyway I trust him to sensible enough to not force himself.

There´s something new? It is officially outside of the olympics?I don´t believe that in a pair of days he has improved the sufficient thing like being in Athens, but the important thing now is hi health, surely are waiting for him a lot of days of glory....

Get better soon......
