Exciting match, I think.
R'dam QF: Nadal vs Tsonga - WWW?Yves. 02-12-2009, 10:52 PM Exciting match, I think. richie21 02-12-2009, 10:55 PM On current form and considering the surface, i'd say Tsonga in 2 sets, possibly in 3(despite the fact he is not playing at his best). Nadal looked terrible today against Dimitrov(so many unusual UEs from him). malisha 02-12-2009, 10:55 PM doubt it will be exiting with their level this week ChampionshipPoints 02-12-2009, 10:55 PM Since their famous AO encounter of 2008 which Tsonga won, they played again once last year and Nadal won. Who will win this time? The way Nadal is playing so far, my vote is on Tsonga. finishingmove 02-12-2009, 10:56 PM doubt it will be exiting with their level this week +1 Yves. 02-12-2009, 10:57 PM Sorry kid, too late, 2 minutes to be precise... ChampionshipPoints 02-12-2009, 10:59 PM Sorry kid, too late, 2 minutes to be precise... Oops! Yves. 02-12-2009, 11:01 PM Oops! Doesn't matter. Now we can see if people change their opinions  Crazy Girl 02-12-2009, 11:28 PM Nadal. 3. Voo de Mar 02-12-2009, 11:40 PM I suppose they are going to play on the higher level tomorrow than in the first two rounds. I think they are mentally prepared for this match from the beginning of the tournament ;) moon language 02-12-2009, 11:55 PM This matchup is more like who will lose based on current form. MagicMilan 02-12-2009, 11:56 PM Tsonganator  Nadal is playing like crap in Rotterdam :( MalwareDie 02-12-2009, 11:56 PM Tsonga's back was stiff during the Australian Open. I wonder if it still is. If his back his fine, he will stomp on Mugboar. Laba 02-13-2009, 01:04 AM Both aren't playing well, but the surface favors Jo so.. HattonWBA 02-13-2009, 07:20 AM Tsonga will surely be getting tired, Nadal in 2 Bazooka 02-13-2009, 11:14 AM I think they will raise level today. Nadal can be half-sleep vs. players that are not real rivals, but he can't afford losing easily to Tsonga again. Tsonga is tired but will do everything to defeat the #1 for the first time. (Nadal was #2 in last AO). vamosinator 02-13-2009, 11:16 AM THE RAFA is playing his B-game to avoid mental fatigue, it leads to a lot of unforced errors but his clutchness sees him through. His A-game (as in the game where he makes very few unforced errors) is mentally exhausting so he isn't using it in this tournament. The B-game is a kind of 'go with the flow swing for the fences' kind of game which is good enough to beat most players. When he plays Tsonga he will have to make the decision of either continuing with the B-game or lifting to the A-game  duong 02-13-2009, 11:19 AM Tsonga played well against Tursunov. Nadal plays absolutely crap this week. But of course Tsonga may make a lot of UE and Nadal will fight more. Then Tsonga in 2 or 3. vamosinator 02-13-2009, 11:20 AM HEAD TO HEAD THE RAFA leads 2-1 LAST MEETING: THE RAFA 6-7(4) 7-6(3) 7-5 @ 2008 ATP Masters Series Indian Wells :D rafa_maniac 02-13-2009, 11:27 AM This will be a suckfest, Tsonga in 3. Mateya 02-13-2009, 11:35 AM Bolelli won a set of Nadal. Dimitrov won a set of Nadal. Tsonga will take two sets. Tsonga 6-4 6-2 Andi-M 02-13-2009, 12:02 PM Tsonga in 2. Johnny Groove 02-13-2009, 12:03 PM I hope for another IW quality match federernadalfan 02-13-2009, 12:34 PM tough one, but rafa in three no? PiggyGotRoasted 02-13-2009, 12:37 PM haha gay ORGASMATRON 02-13-2009, 12:44 PM Cant wait for this, should be really interesting. Tsonga's attacking game and the surface says he is the winner. vamosinator 02-13-2009, 12:54 PM THE RAFA will walk all over MrT  http://i372.photobucket.com/albums/oo163/peiris1/wimbledon08.jpg SwiSha 02-13-2009, 01:07 PM I hope for another IW quality match that was by no means a quality match both players were playing like shit on that day Johnny Groove 02-13-2009, 01:09 PM that was by no means a quality match both players were playing like shit on that day Maybe we watched a different match. Those tiebreaks were all tense. I especially liked the comeback at the end from 2-5 down. Machiavelli 02-13-2009, 01:10 PM Tsonga all the way, with confidence SwiSha 02-13-2009, 01:12 PM Maybe we watched a different match. Those tiebreaks were all tense. I especially liked the comeback at the end from 2-5 down. a comeback doesnt make that a good match, Nadal was in piss poor form ( the only set he played llike he is capable of was the 3rd one round later against Blake) and an erratic Tsonga was serving for the match and choked badly that was another legendary fight from rafa but by no means a quality match vamosinator 02-13-2009, 01:14 PM If that Tsonga were any good that sucker would have won a slam already I PITY THE FOOL! :D :p Johnny Groove 02-13-2009, 01:14 PM a comeback doesnt make that a good match, Nadal was in piss poor form ( the only set he played llike he is capable of was the 3rd one round later against Blake) and an erratic Tsonga was serving for the match and choked badly that was another legendary fight from rafa but by no means a quality match So who've you got in this one then? mediter 02-13-2009, 01:17 PM Only an uninformed fool would give nadal any chance in this match. SwiSha 02-13-2009, 01:21 PM So who've you got in this one then? i expect Rafa to raise his level but still fancy Tsonga in 3, bad matchup plus fast court the big questiion is how tired is Jo... vamosinator 02-13-2009, 01:32 PM Only an uninformed fool would give nadal any chance in this match. Major sig material alert  Johnny Groove 02-13-2009, 02:01 PM i expect Rafa to raise his level but still fancy Tsonga in 3, bad matchup plus fast court the big questiion is how tired is Jo... If he's tired I would imagine he'd want to end the points quickly. If he does that it'll just be Tsonga's net rush vs. Nadal passing shots all day. This one's gonna be close SwiSha 02-13-2009, 02:03 PM If he's tired I would imagine he'd want to end the points quickly. You cannot get tired on this fast surface. Just on contrary, you can rest up while playing if you get what I mean. :D asmazif 02-13-2009, 05:55 PM Oh, it's happening. Never mind, made me smile Clydey 02-13-2009, 07:41 PM Gotta love Tsonga. :haha: Have the moderators discussed allowing us to discuss live matches in these threads? I've asked twice and on two separate occasions was told that they would look into it. finishingmove 02-13-2009, 07:45 PM Gotta love Tsonga. :haha: Have the moderators discussed allowing us to discuss live matches in these threads? Clydey 02-13-2009, 07:55 PM just jump into one of the chat threads or the gamblers lounge livescore thread. Hardly anyone uses those threads. If we could use the WWW threads, more people would get involved. No one has been able to explain the logic behind us being barred from discussing live matches in WWW threads. gebl 02-14-2009, 02:15 AM Only an uninformed fool would give nadal any chance in this match. epic foresight :haha: SwiSha 02-14-2009, 02:18 AM You cannot get tired on this fast surface.
