Schwank went a set down and then went 3-0 up in the second before Machado came back to lead a set and 5-4 and then serve for the match, he then got broken and lost the tie break, they then traded early breaks in the third just like the first set, Schwank then had a match point at 5-3 in the third set, however Mchado held and then broke back whilst schwank was serving for the match, they then held to take it into a breaker with schwank saving a match point at 5-6, schwank then won the tie break to go through to the quater finals
