Clement, you only have to see him serving and hitting the ball these days to see he´s going nowhere fast, he´s playing like a futures player, no power, no depth, moving not as well as he used and serving like crap. Therefore he was as easy as it gets concerning having an easy 1st round draw-

Recouderc is nth, meanwhile I´m no fan of Jesse at all, he has a serve, unlike the Frenchman and more firepower despite being too wild for my taste and way more erratic than him. This is simply untrue. He is no longer the guy who reached the AO final, of course, and he is getting slower, but he is still deserving of his Top 100 spot. His wins this season illustrate exactly that; perhaps he is not in the finest form, but he is still winning plenty of matches. Only the loss to Luczak is questionable.

Laurent actually has a good serve. Especially indoors, it lands him loads of free points. He qualified because he was in very good form. I agree that he is nothing more than a journeyman, but he is an in-form journeyman. Jesse is a journeyman too, but not in good shape. Ergo, saying that Jesse > Recouderc at this moment is a falsehood.

Thiemo is extremely talented, yes, but lacks match rhythm and experience. He also doesn't have good nerves.
