San Jose R1- Kei "Project 45" Nishikori deals with Gilles "Tomic-basher" Muller 75 62

title speaks for itself

Nishikori may yet do well here depending on the draw.

And I consider this revanche for AO where Kei pulled out with injury  and Muller mugged his way past Tomic

Yh good win for Kei, although he has Del Potro next so proberbly gonna go out, shame about his draw

Del Mugro? :(

Kei can beat Del Pony :D

Solid, if not very spectacular, win for Kei. :)
Muller kind of self-destructed in the second set.
Kei's first serve % was very poor early in the first set but became better and better as the match went on.

Good luck in the next round, probably against JMDP. I like JM too but I hope Kei can revenge on him after his loss at USO, although it may be a tall order.
Shame Kei will lose many points next week because his points from Delray Beach will drop off...

not if he wins SJ

I expect Kei to rise again this year, he will be a really good player i believe

Congratulations to Kei! I hope he will beat Del Potro.

Hope he beats Del Potro. He has the talent to go far, but luck's just not with him.

Anyways がんばって!

sorry kooties

the last time I read hiragana was in Year 6 :p

what does it say/mean?

02-10-2009, 08:26 AM
Ganbatte = good luck.

02-10-2009, 08:27 AM

I can read it now... and remember what the "commas" do too :p

Del Potro is due a loss, especially in the smaller events. I fancy Kei to deal with him in three if he doesn't collapse before then!

02-10-2009, 09:19 AM
Kei better does well here because when the points drop off it won't be so funny.

I know :ras:

project 45 will become project 100 :ras:

I still think he's a little overrated. Having said so, I still hope he will beat Juan Martin "uber-overrated" Del Potro.
