Will Murray make the final without losing a set?

It will be tough against Tsonga, but I can't see him losing a set to Nadal.

TMJordan

A set? I don't see him losing another game along the way.

He has the potential to do it... But dno if he will.

Btw Murray, Nadal and Tsonga might even lost on monday. lol:P

Nina, what will you do to yourself if Mandy, in all his divinity, decides to subvert all laws of logic and probability, and loses in SF, or even QF ??

will you start warming up for RG, perhaps??

You dont even back your man to take a set off Murray should he get through? Sad fan you are.

Tsonga aint making QFs Flake will do 1 over on him. Simon/Monfils will beat Nadal.
In which case Murray wont't lose set to Blake might lose one to Simon. He can make final without droping set which will give him the energy to show up this time.

ORGASMATRON
01-24-2009, 05:34 PM
IF Murray is lucky enough to get to the final he would already have gone in four or five sets in the fourth round, quarters and semi's and he'll be done by the time he meets Fed in the final, getting owned even harder then in the US Open.

PiggyGotRoasted
01-24-2009, 05:43 PM
He might drop a set against tsonga, but Gonzalez in the semi final will be a tough one if he is playing as well as he did today as will verdasco.

He might lose three or four sets to Nadal, but after that it would be a plain sailing.

I think it is possible. I don't think he would get there without losing a set but wouldn't be surprised if he did and that includes a potential Nadal match-up.

Yes, he did so last year at the Pary-Bercy masters, which he eventually won...

If you wonder if he's beat him at this slam, then I suppose the answer is, HE WILL!

I think he will lose a set against Nando, lose at least two against Zonga, and by the time he gets to the semi's Rafa will moonball him into oblivian. Iow Murray is fuct, totally fuct. He's just gona have to wait for a more favorable draw. Next time Murray my son.

But Rafatards want us to believe he's beaten Grand Slam champs or something... Now if he annihilates Gonzo in R16 I'll be impressed.

When he does a number on Gonzo the response will be "the guy was dead tired". After all, wasn't Haas meant to be the first test? Now that Rafa's whooped him he's just another mug

Gonzo didn't look dead tired to me, so I won't be using it as an excuse. Gonzo is the first real test, if Rafa whips him I'll give him mad props.

Will be a ridiculous thing if he never drop a set until final but just become a runner-up.

Rafa will take one or two sets from him...imo but still my ideal final is Murray-Fed or Murray-Djokovic.
