WWW: Blake or Tsonga?lleytonfan! 01-24-2009, 06:14 AM  JimmyV 01-24-2009, 06:16 AM I don't know what the best part is. The ridiculous thread title, the fact that Blake is still playing a match, or the numerous references to the WTA in your signature. I'm sure it will all end well. Voo de Mar 01-24-2009, 06:19 AM lleytonfan! - you deserve a bad rep for a thread like this one ;) kyleskywalker007 01-24-2009, 06:19 AM Yeah, idiotic thread. Should be closed forever! superslam77 01-24-2009, 06:46 AM are you guys being sarcastic or now it's wrong to make jokes in this case?.. let's call it battle of the pig roasters then  :wavey: Burrow 01-24-2009, 06:48 AM I don't see how this thread is offensive? Biracials, how the hell is that offensive? Voo de Mar 01-24-2009, 06:51 AM  lleytonfan! setted up this thread when Blake was leading 3:0 in the 4th set, therefore comments below first post... *snowflake* 01-24-2009, 06:59 AM I don't see how this thread is offensive? Biracials, how the hell is that offensive? Maybe not as offensive as politically incorrect and completely unnecessary... Burrow 01-24-2009, 07:01 AM Unnecessary maybe but it's not really offensive considering it isn't something vulgar or rude. green25814 01-24-2009, 07:05 AM Im shocked and disgusted by this thread. Im leaving the forum at once, bye guys :o superslam77 01-24-2009, 07:07 AM exactly it's not rude..people can have a nice tan color with all that sun and fire taken from pig roasting. :spit: FedFan_2007 01-24-2009, 07:10 AM Congo will win. Clydey 01-24-2009, 07:34 AM Ridiculous reaction to a completely harmless thread title. If that offends you, just about anything will. FedFan_2007 01-24-2009, 07:35 AM Yeah but Congo will still win. Probably in 3 sets. I hate Blake. marcRD 01-24-2009, 08:02 AM Obama! FedFan_2007 01-24-2009, 08:04 AM Congo will defeat Obama in 3. Horatio Caine 01-24-2009, 08:06 AM Really not sure tbh. Not been overly impressed by the glimpses I have seen of Tsonga, this week...but I consider him to be a tougher match for Blake, than Blake is for him. That said, I think Blake has been playing well, for the most part, this week...although he did go off the boil a little against Andreev (and against a better, and fresher, opponent, he probably wouldn't have got away with it so easily). For the record, I'll go with Tsonga...I expect this match to be fairly tight, and Blake isn't exactly famed for his mental toughness. marcRD 01-24-2009, 08:07 AM Congo will defeat Obama in 3. Tsonga looks more like Obama than Blake imo. MIMIC 01-24-2009, 08:32 AM Not really sure. I'm a Blake fan so....Tsonga will probably win. I'll vote for Blake anyway. Chileno 01-24-2009, 08:43 AM Ali! the graduate 01-24-2009, 08:49 AM Obama James Tsonga all tick black in the ballot box,I am sure Obama is happy to be called first black president.I am sure if these guys were in jail or commited a crime they will be called black men by the same people who call them biracial. OBAMA,BLAKE ,TSONGA regard themselves as black men, deal with it!!!only Tiger calls himself caublasian now he wants to be included in the black community what a fake Henry Chinaski 01-24-2009, 09:17 AM I believe the politically correct term is "zebra". Tsonga will win this. If the big hitting ain't working then he has the ability to chance things up. The same can't be said of Blake. marcRD 01-24-2009, 09:32 AM Obama James Tsonga all tick black in the ballot box,I am sure Obama is happy to be called first black president.I am sure if these guys were in jail or commited a crime they will be called black men by the same people who call them biracial. OBAMA,BLAKE ,TSONGA regard themselves as black men, deal with it!!!only Tiger calls himself caublasian now he wants to be included in the black community what a fake Tiger is like 62,5% asian and 25% black, why would he be a black man? Asians deserve their sport idol too. Also, Obama was raised by his white mother and grandparents. I dont know why you would deny that part of his heritage? I certanly dont think he would deny it. Christoph123 01-24-2009, 09:48 AM Tsonga in 4. Andi-M 01-24-2009, 09:49 AM OK here me thinking this was a tennis thread. Theres nothing wrong with the title it's just a bit silly its like saying. WWW Battle of Caucasians Berdych Vs Federer. Anyway Tsonga in 4. lleytonfan! 01-24-2009, 10:23 AM Obama James Tsonga all tick black in the ballot box,I am sure Obama is happy to be called first black president.I am sure if these guys were in jail or commited a crime they will be called black men by the same people who call them biracial. OBAMA,BLAKE ,TSONGA regard themselves as black men, deal with it!!!only Tiger calls himself caublasian now he wants to be included in the black community what a fake I agree with Marc. And how do you know they tick black in the ballot box? And even if they did, it still doesn't mean they aren't biracial anyway. Black father, white mother. ~*BGT*~ 01-24-2009, 10:25 AM Ridiculous reaction to a completely harmless thread title. If that offends you, just about anything will. Shut up Clydey. Treat biracials, blacks and whites equally.. as well as asians. It's like me writing 'Battle of the Caucasians - WWW: Federer or Berdych' TJ20 01-24-2009, 12:28 PM Andi-M and me had the exact same thought process. Im guessing many others did too... apart from the people who see nothing wrong with it. maf 01-24-2009, 12:30 PM I don't see it as offensive, really really dumb and pointless yes, but not offensive. nisha 01-24-2009, 12:32 PM Ban Byrd 01-24-2009, 12:35 PM  at the thread title, bi-racial tsonga in 4. Johnny Groove 01-24-2009, 12:39 PM I don't think anyone thought it to be offensive, but putting that title is sure to draw responses, most of them irrelevent to the awesome match we have at hand here. As for it, Blake to win another 5 setter :p anousleshommes@h 01-24-2009, 12:41 PM Nothing FUNNY at the thread's title. It is extremely rude to mention and indeed discern one based on their physical appearance. I would suppose Tsonga, Obama, Blake, would rather be judged on their aptitude rather than their appearance, which is why such a title is EXTREMELY INSENTIVE. NO SCOT PERSON WOULD LIKE TO BE DEEMED STUPID BECAUSE HE/SHE HAS A STRONG AND PRONOUNCED GLASWEEGIAN/SCOT ACCENT, through no fault of their own. In fact, the fact you have an accent usually infers you are not well educated or didnt attend private school, etc. MANY SCOTS HAVE TO CHANGE THEIR ACCENTS FOR JOB INTERVIEWS. YOU CANT CHANGE YOUR SKIN TONE, WHICH IS WHY SUCH A THREAD IS SO INSENSITIVE, AND I HOPE IT GETS DELETED PS: If you are a scot or a foreigner in the UK, you'll know what I'm talking about. I'm not sure who changed the thread title, but they shouldn't have complied with your childish request. No he might not have said anything negative, but again, I wouldn't like to troll about in Thailand and be reminded that I am caucasian (usually wiv a negative inference as happened last time over there), or be judged because I am gay. Gee! In light of Prince harry recent racist remarks, I think the thread title was ucalled for, as simple as that! Ouragan 01-24-2009, 02:57 PM I don't see how this thread is offensive? Biracials, how the hell is that offensive? You know that people are so sensitive about race issues that mentioning race itself is a case for a sue. Obviously it's ridiculous, but hey, still better than apartheid. Sleepy24seven 01-24-2009, 03:35 PM The poster didn't mean any harm, however it is quite out of place statement. We don't say Cauasian vs Cauasian because it's indeed, out of place and not needed. Almost everyone is biracial, even though your appearance may be cauasian, black(or whatever) I am 100% you prolly have a 90% percent chance of being mixed. LleytonMonfils 01-25-2009, 10:35 PM Tsonga in 4. He is better than Blake in every single facet of the game so this match should be in his hands. Plan on seeing a ton of winner's and UE's in this one. Where does all this africa talk come from? They are half black YES, are they AFRICAN in ANY WAY? Allow me to doubt so. THE THREAD SHUD BE SHUT DOWN, this is insulting to both blake and tsonga's ability, discerning them through their skin colour rather than sheer talent. Pathetic! Turquoise 01-26-2009, 10:08 AM Political correctness has led black/mixed people in USA to be addressed as "African-Americans". It doesn't make much sense to me, but that's the accepted way. As for Tsonga, he's proud of his African roots and he wouldn't be offended by being partlly labelled African. I, for one, think we take political correctness too far sometimes and tend to be over-sensitive about labels. I'm black or mixed race (I have Scottish roots) or whatever, but I don't worry about it. anousleshommes@h 01-26-2009, 10:20 AM Political correctness has led black/mixed people in USA to be addressed as "African-Americans".
