Someone should take away the rackets from these old farts, before they get seriously injured.

What the fuck? I thought the come back of Chinsedski was ambitious.

Maybe even Rod Laver should rethink his comeback on the tour :spit:

Tennis must really suck.

well, USA must follow the trend and call Agassi and Sampras, they'll do a much better job than Roddick and Blake

I don't know if any of you saw Edberg play on the champions tour lately but he's still really good and in really good shape. I'm sure he lost a step or two somewhere, but I honestly would not be surprised if he won all his matches.

This is seriously getting ridiculous! Why did they retire in the first place? They were old back then.....and they are not getting any younger with each passing day! I hope it all ends in disaster!

:eek:Edberg:D
they will probably lose 2-3 with Edberg winning both singles matches unless Wilander calls himself as 2nd singles player :music:

Surely not for singles!

Well, I took the liberty of checking the Swedish singles rankings yesterday...and their lack of depth was even worse than I thought. Maybe Edberg could be "useful" in the doubles rubber (assuming Erlich/Ram aren't to be reunited just yet), but I'm not sure that at 43 years of age he would be a stronger prospect than even a Rehnquist, over a 4/5-set match.

I wonder if Mats is doing it only to generate talk in Sweeden about DC, so that enough people show up. After all, they did beat us in Israel last year, and Harel hasn't improved in the meantime, and right now Yoni Erlich is injured, and they didn't have Soderling then.

could have a new game invented here
TAG tennis, play a pt then run over to chair and swap over for a few pts.
